A great experience

Wonderful room, beautiful view of the mountain from 418

We love staying at Tivoli! However, during our most recent visit the hot tub was so hot that we were unable to use it. When we asked staff to adjust the temperature, we were told there was nothing they could do about it.

Property is extremely dated. Outlet in room did not work. Furniture dated and broken. We had to have our key recoded every day to access our room. One elevator that staff occupy 50 percent of time. Asked to speak to manager on duty. Asked for a call back. Left name and number never received a call back from “Donovan D.. “manager on duty”

Beautiful hotel with very attentive and helpful staff. Great location!
-
Nice because it is a smaller hotel and just a block away from the main street through the village. We'll stay here again and bring family.

Beautiful place

Very nice stay. Right in the heart of Vail.

Comfy beds, beautiful rooms, it’s just not your average hotel! It’s right on the bike path and within walking distance of everything in Vail.

It's a beautiful property in a great location, but, they charge $45 to park overnight. It's the same cost as the public overnight parking, but I would rather have known that in the room price than find out once you get there. There are no alternative parking options for less, so that's fine but it should be in the room rate I think. Also, a nice breakfast is offered but you have to pay extra for that too. That probably makes sense because not everyone eats breakfast, so if you don't eat it, no charge. We have stayed here for many years and they always make you feel very welcome and are very helpful and accommodating and it's a very comfortable and nice property, literally steps from Vail Village and an easy, beautiful walk to the amphitheater. The rooms are spotlessly clean and very nice, with fridge, micro and coffee, plus wine glasses and an opener and you can get late night dessert/cocktails delivered to your room too which is really nice! Highly recommend and will definitely return soon and look forward to it.

Staffing was rude and unhelpful. They didn’t seem to like people. The place is run down and tired- the faucets leaked horribly in the bathroom. There was no breakfast nor was the bar open. Vail has went downhill, as well - no watering of grass - no flowers or flowerpots - no fountains on anywhere - no american flags celebrating the 250th. I have been going to Vail since 1986 and things have really changed. The place was empty. Huge disappointment on all fronts.

Everything was wonderful - just a bit warm in the evening in the room during June. Would stay again!

Wonderful bellboy Greg was hugely helpful. Very nice property and very conveniently located in the center of Vail

The main issue I experienced was the lack of transparency about vehicle charging. A huge factor in my decision to stay here was the offered perk of charging my EV overnight as long as one valeted with the hotel. An exchange of messages occurred prior to confirm this arrangement only to find out after check-in, that they only charge Teslas. Even though my vehicle has the Tesla charging port, I was still told 'no." The valet himself even seemed a bit dumbfounded as to why this policy was in effect. This, coupled with the white, scummy splatter on the back of the bathroom door, the (2) stained celing tiles in the bathroom from previous leaks, and the untimely malfunction of the main elevator, makes a return stay unlikely.

Ladies helping at the front desk were less than congenial. I have stayed at the Tivoli for many many years but this was the first I felt bothered by the lack of friendliness and welcoming from front desk staff.

First time to Vail, great place in the summer and lots to do if you are into the outdoors

Location and very friendly staff Air-conditioning

Exterior appearance of the property was very good. Landscaping appeared to be important. There was a sharp contrast between the stunning aesthetic and the stifling climate. Our room did not have air conditioning despite that being listed as one of the amenities. The maintenance staff brought up a portable air conditioner, which slowly cooled the room to about 73 but was noisy and had to be vented through an open door. Eventually, the staff admitted that they couldn’t fix the air conditioning and they didn’t have a room with air to which they could transfer us. At that point we decided to cut our stay short and we left. The hotel refunded our room charge for our second day as well as the amenities charge. Overall, we felt that the staff, including the son of the owner, just didn’t care. This was our first trip to Vail and, because of our experience, we probably won’t return!

the location was perfect. The ebikes were a fun surprise and the rooms were very very clean. Thank you to the cleaning staff. They do a great job. One surprise was the additional parking cost of $45/night. A cost to factor in…. one disappointment was that the locker to store guest bikes was left unlocked, when I was assured by staff, , it would always be locked and secure. Staff misrepresented this. Found the locker wide open and accessible to everyone. I might think twice about staying here with bicycles. It was not secure and noteworthy that bikes are not allowed in rooms.
