Baymont by Wyndham Valdosta at Valdosta Mall

This place sucks. Never stay here they looks through your windows and open il your doors in the middle of night and say “I’m sorry. Thought this room was vacant”. Twice people. I don’t think so. Shady

When I checked in the desk guy was rude. He put me in a room whose door lock was broken , so anyone could just open it up. I almost didn’t stay becaue he refused to check me into another room. The next morning I thought someone was breaking in just to realize all of the noise was coming from from the utility closet the staff used located right beside my room. I couldn’t get any rest after that 8 am wake up because it remained loud all day. I ended up leaving to go home and work on my house but returned around 9 pm. I had to get all my bags back out because I was afraid to leave them there during the day. About midnight I venture out to grab something to eat and saw the desk clerk pointing at me and saying something. So, I continued getting in my car and drove up to speak with him. He informed me to not come back and to leave right then. I tried to ask him what was going on and why and he just kept speaking a different language into the phone and walked away. I figured I would call and speak with him. Nope. He hung up on all 26 times I called throughout the night. This place is a joke. I went to speak with the manager the next am and got my stuff out of my room. He wouldn’t even talk to me. I spoke with Expedia and they gave me $25 bucks back on $140 stay. Never stay here!!!

Very dirty floors and around the property. A lot of rust and unclean. Hairdryer was broken. Looked much better online than in person. Pretty embarrassing to be honest

There was a shooting in the room in the other building (no one was hurt, thankfully) and cops swarmed the whole motel around 10:15, 10:30. But, that was not the motel's fault. We needed to check-in early, and the manager accomidated for us. The room was clean, maybe not completely done with the remodel, but it was good for us. The bathroom was exceptionally large, which was a plus. Overall, the motel itself was good. Only real complaints were the coffee pot and no microwave

Front desk was unfriendly and rude he gave me a lecture on not smoking in the room then when I checked in the room smelled like cigarettes I notified the front desk and they told me it’s from people smoking outside.

When my wife and daughters arrived the room had bugs in it, under the bed and the carpet was sticky. My wife and daughters simply went to another hotel nearby. The clerk on duty could not refund but said the manager may be able to. Would have appreciated them proactively offering the refund. Side note - my wife and kids have stayed at a Baymont by Wyndham in another city and it was fine.

As far as the price it wasn't bad. The property can use a facelift though. I experienced the tub filling up with water as I showered, poor drainage or stopped up. There was a aluminum pan on the floor to catch water leaking from the air-conditioner. Old smelly curtains that barely covered the window, and rust stains on the doors, ceiling, bathroom fixtures. I rented the room due to a power outage in my neighborhood. I needed power to continue working is the only reason I had to rent this room. Customer service was poor. I asked the gentleman at the front desk what was my total, he stated he didn't know, which I thought was odd. At least try to help the customer. I will not stay here again. I thrive on comfort and great customer service.

Air units leaked water into the rooms. Mold in rooms and ants. Linen was not clean and fresh it was stained. There is no way this was a Wyndham no way. Chose to eat somewhere else did not eat the continental breakfast I just did not trust it. Will not stay their again.

This place is disgusting. Stains on everything. Dirt and filth all over. Roaches in the rooms. No idea how breakfast was, as we stayed about 10 minutes before leaving. Refused to refund our money. Expedia needs to get this hotel off their website, and Wyndham needs to remove the Baymont name from the building. I really don't know how this place hasn't been shut down by the city.

By far the worst Baymont Inn we ever stayed in.

Not too clean at all ad they had roaches. Lumpy mattresses dirty walls. Water on floor.

The room had an odor like cat urine, the paint was peeling off the walls. The room had fleas and there were rat droppings in the bed. We stayed in the room exactly 30 minutes and left and moved to another hotel. We were not happy and not satisfied. We were completely horrified. My wife was actually bitten by the fleas. This place is a health hazard and is inhospitable.

Everything was perfect and the pool was clean
