Super 8 by Wyndham Van Horn

Our room needed a lot of attention. The wall had something black splattered on it. The floor had a few dead bugs and other trash in a corner. There was a chair that was very stained and should be removed. in the bathroom was some sort of bug that was alive. On a positive note, my bed and pillows were comfortable and clean. And, I liked the convenience of being by love‘s gas station and McDonald’s. The Quick Start breakfast was adequate.

Room could have been a lot cleaner. Baseboards and walls weren't clean, beds had bed covers that had what looked to be cigarettes or smokes of some kind burn holes in several spots. That's the seond room after asking for a room change due to barking dog and that room smelling of urine. The chair in the room was hidious,so nasty and stained we wouldnt go near it. We did stay ,we had traveled all day ,butnby far check your rooms close. We were offered a front row room but the pot that was being smoked out front was ridiculously stong we didn't want to enter the main office much less stay up front.

We had a wonderful stay. Everything was great.

Rooms smell like smoke and very musty.

It was clean. The room was kind of beat-up.

Was fine for the price.

Great location, comfortable beds, ease of check-in. Night clerk seemed to be irritated, the chair in our room was very stained, matted, ripped. Carpet needs replaced, entire room was dusty like it hasn’t been cleaned in a few days/weeks.

We got a few hours sleep and then headed out. We just couldn't handle the type of surrounding that we were in plus the neighbor next to us was very noisy with people coming. And going and slamming doors very uncomfortable situation was unable to sleep through the night Us being not familiar with the area.We were very uncomfortable

There were cockroaches in my room and do you suppose I would eat inside your breakfast room knowing? I don’t think so. Filth, bugs and maintenance issues

As soon as opened the door, you can immediately smell the smoke in the room from previous stays. The bedding was dirty and stained, chairs were stained. The bathroom was wiped down but had blood or other red spots on the walls near the toilet. I understand furniture stains may be difficult to deal with but blankets, sheets and walls are unacceptable. What shocked me worse than the condition of the room was the fact that when I talked to the front desk, they assured me that it was "typically the Best room". I'd hate to see the others. Price was cheap so budget friendly. I did not plan to stay there before I booked. It was the only available room in Van Horn with two beds. Needless to say, we did not stay!

Exceptional

Breakfast was very limited. The bathroom door could close because the toilet was in the way.

We’ve stayed here a few times with our family and it’s our go to for a budget friendly stay. It’s well worth the money saved if you’re stay for 1 night. Also a better option than the Motel 6 in the area.

We only needed to rest up for a few hours before getting back on the road. The man at he desk wasn't cheerful, but he got us a room quickly. The first thing I noticed was the stained bed spread. I didn't feel bad about letting my German shepherd sleep on the bed. The restroom seemed clean till I shut he door behind me and saw a bunch of hair (of all kinds) on the floor. But you get what you pay for.

To me it was just another roadside motel, nothing to be excited about, but nothing to be disappointed about. It's right on the frontage road and not far off of I-10, so it was extremely noisy with a lot of truck traffic.
