Super 8 by Wyndham Vancouver East

The woman behind the desk at our arrival at almost midnight was very accommodating to our concerns and needs despite the fact that paving had unexpectedly taken place earlier that evening Understanding that maintenance is required. I didn’t appreciate that I didn’t get a heads up to let me know that the parking would be limited. Otherwise I may have changed where I was staying.

We booked on line and paid and We was sent away after they took our money prior to check in. They parking lot was getting paved We could not park at super 8.

Fit my needs as an inexpensive place to sleep for one night, close to where I needed to be.

Bathtub made of plastic and every step you took made it feel like the bathtub was going to give in, one tiny garbage can, AC sucks, TV didn't work at all, had to use key card multiple times to unlock door every single time, cigarettes everywhere outside, and puke outside, stairs shake when walking up them, railings to stairs missing bolts and were zip tied instead, reserved ADA accessible room and got upstairs instead, dresser and nightstands unbalanced, shower only sprays out from half the shower head, and door not secure (pictures). We told them online, and on the phone we'd be coming after midnight, rang bell for 10+ minutes both times until someone finally came. Woman was really rude, the guy was ok.

Nothing The office chair pleather was almost completely peeled off, the laminate on the bathroom door was coming off, the sheets were stained, my husband kept waking up to spiders crawling on him and I found a dead spider on his back! It was awful! We took pictures of everything and the owners didn’t care. No refund, no apologies, simply didn’t care.

bed comfortable room clean I paid for the room through booking.com and was charged a second time by the hotel. Booking.com said I needed to contact the hotel. I called and they said they would reverse charges and then a few days later was charged a 3rd time. Super 8 customer service agent told me I had to dispute the charges with my bank. All of this for a hotel that was really inexpensive and had a great bed but the hotel and grounds are in disrepair. The door looked like it had been kicked in on multiple occasions. Also the hotel claims to have free breakfast and does not, and wifi is not free.

Always enjoy my stay at Super 8. Staff is super & my room is clean & comfortable

Room is spacous and the general location is good with lots of businesses close by. Needs some repairs such as the bathroom door and desk chair.

Customer service was good, place was good for our budget, room was horrible, some disgusting not sure if it was food (dried underneath the bed) I sprayed the whole room with antibacterial spray and my husband had to fix the light in the bathroom it was hanging down because we didn’t want anyone else to come in the room it was already bad and we just need a place to lay down.

Out of all the properties in this area, this one was the scariest. I thought I had booked the one across the street that has a fence around it. High crime and homeless people

The sheets were clean and the towels are clean Yes, it smelled like mold. We had to leave the window and the door open. There’s nothing but homeless tweakers outside all night long. You could hear them talking all night had to get replacement keys twice. Also said breakfast, but there was no breakfas

Staff was nice. Slow flushing toilet, bunk shower pressure.

I enjoy the food options around and the price was good which surprised me. I noticed a round quarter sized hole in the shower wall. I was also disappointed in the left wing.
