Inn at the Beach

We arrived to a room filled with black hair all over the bathroom, a cockroach on the floor, and a smell that lasted the whole weekend. We politely told the front desk and they re-cleaned the room but there was still black hair everywhere. We were told the reason for the smell was the sprinklers were on earlier in the day. However, the smell was terrible and didn’t go away. We even bought a candle at a store downtown and kept it burning to relieve the smell throughout the weekend. Don’t check under the beds. That area hadn’t been cleaned in way too long with dust bunnies, dirt, and sand. If it wasn’t a holiday weekend with no availability anywhere else, we would have left. The location made the stay bearable.

Excellent place to stay will definitely stay again

While the room is not ocean view ~ it was super clean and cleaned daily with fresh towels and clean floors. They even provide two beach towels daily. That is super important at the beach. The room was just across the street from the beach. So maybe a two minute walk. We had the King Suite with a small kitchen. It was perfect for us. We had a great time and enjoyed our stay. The staff were all super kind and helpful. Having private parking that close to the beach was a huge benefit. Parking is not easy that close to the beach. We always had a parking spot every time we returned and that was amazing. I would definitely stay here again.

The Inn was in a great location. Close to the beach, they have equipment for shark tooth hunting as well as chairs and umbrellas to use for the beach at no cost. The rooms are old, out dated and in need of new beds, flooring, fresh linens, towels and maybe an actual working mini fridge. The price was not work the experience.

Very cute place and friendly, attentive staff.

This was such a quaint Florida hotel. It isnt like the chains you can stay at anywhere. We were right across from Venice Beach and can easily walk there. The office has beach gear to borrow ...chair, umbrella, shark tooth scooper and sifter. Every morning there are fresh pastries in the lobby from a local bakery. They also provide beach towels. We would 100% stay here again.

in at the beach was one of the most wonderful hotels I have ever stayed at, the rooms were awesome, spotless, the staff was super friendly, no problem borrowing their beach, chairs and umbrellas, the location was fantastic, about 50 yards from some of the best sunsets that my wife and I have ever seen. The pool was also very nice and every single staff member that we encountered was friendly and helpful, we will definitely be back to this property, also the daily breakfast was amazing.

This property does not disappoint! Its was mine and my boyfriend's first time visiting this property and it was worth every penny staying here. We will definitely be back in the future. Having all of the beach items available for you every morning was so perfect! We found so many shark teeth and enjoyed every single minute of our trip. This hotel made it that more special. Great breakfast choices! & Always available for anything you need. Tarlesha was such an amazing housekeeper too!

Beautiful clean room, nice swimming pool, continental breakfast was delicious, easy parking, great view of the beach from our porch. We had a great time!,

Great hotel! Very clean and the staff were superb!

The room was very clean, staff was super nice, it was very organized as to check in and access to the office.

😊But shower a bit hard to turn on and off . Actually had the to ask the front desk since it is a hard pull/push handle.

Great stay 4 nights. They still had heater on pool so wad like taking a bath. Not refreshing at all its summer time. I told person in office but they left it on. We had the king suite which was nice. Have stove top and all pots and pans and utensils. Microwave and nice size refrigerator and freezer. They also have stuff for beach like umbrella, beach chairs, shark teeth scoopers free to use. Free bottle water. No grills. We might go back next summer.

Great place to stay right next to the beach. The hotel had everything you could need beach towels, umbrellas, shark tooth sisters. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The area is peaceful and close enough to also drive to other beaches in Sarasota area if want to. It was a great hotel!

Well past my expectations! Clean, cute, and could see the beach from our room!
