Room, common areas and pool were very clean (except for an overlooked needle stashed above the bathroom door molding). I guess the price point invites all kinds. Office doesn’t open until 9 so if they fail to put coffee in your room, be prepared for a trip to 7-11.

Staying here feels deeply nostalgic. My great-grandparents stayed at this hotel before they bought property on Venice Island, and coming back now brings all those family stories to life. It’s close to the island and all the familiar stops, shops, and beaches I grew up with and still visit. This is where I always stay when I visit the Gulf Coast. The rooms are perfect for a quick stay. Clean, comfortable, and straightforward. The shower is nice and warm, the AC is excellent, and the heated pool is a real plus. One of my favorite parts is sitting outside the door in the evening with a drink; it’s the best way to wind down the day. This place doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of a big resort, but that’s part of its charm. It takes you back to a simpler time, puts you right in the middle of everything you need, and is ideal for me. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something convenient, comfortable, and full of character.

Very clean, recently renovated and surprisingly quiet. So convenient for our shark tooth hunting adventures! I stayed with my daughter and plan to return.

Everything. It was clean and comfortable. The staff were very pleasant and attentive to your needs. Nothing. We loved it very thing.

The room was clean, the AC was hit or miss, our check-in interaction wasn't spectacular but it was alright, you're provided with one bag of coffee for one use so be prepared. Otherwise it was definitely what you would expect for the price. I would stay here again if needed.

The ice machine didn't work and the hot water wasn't hot but other than that everything was great. Location was great room was clean

My husband and I love staying here when we are in Venice, shark tooth hunting. Convenient location, the property has that nostagolic, quaint feel about it. The staff is friendly and accommodating.
