I love the historic aspect of this property! I really wish they had more amenities such as a breakfast or perhaps a full bar, but I understand that they are limited and what they can offer

Can't say enough good things about this special hotel. The lobby, courtyard and our room were all interesting and beautiful. The staff was kind and attentive. The location is perfect for walking to the many fun thrift stores, amazing restaurants and coffee shops and fun evening vibes of live music on the streets of Ventura.

We had a wonderful experience at San Bueno. The hotel is beautiful, newly remodeled and just lovely. So clean and quiet, located 2 minutes walking from all the restaurants and shopping. The staff was professional, friendly and when we asked, the staff gave us great recommendations to local areas to see and restaurants to eat at.

The hotel is absolutely lovely -- the staff were all kind and professional. We did ask about getting a different room that wasn't on the first floor in a dark corner...but the room was so cute we eventually didn't care. But if you book with a third party -- such as Expedia -- they won't upgrade or accommodate requests.
