Hotel San Buena

Hotel San Buena is a beautifully restored location with modern amenities. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the temperature controlled room was perfect. The staff were incredibly thoughtful and kind and helpful. And little touches like turn down service (a little treat in the evening) and filtered water on the rooms were very nice. My only complaint was that the Historic room is directly below a walkway and directly next to a gate that leads to the outdoors. We could hear people walking and the heavy metal gate slam shut as early as 7am and as late as 10pm. Other than this our stay was ideal.

It's a historic property with modern technology and amenities. Special. We will be back.

Wonderful! A must stay!

Great hotel room and incredibly friendly staff. Loved our stay and will be happy to come back here in the future. Also had a completely enclosed garage which gave us some peace of mind in the evening.

A great place to stay in the city of Ventura. Within walking distance of the Ventura Theatre.

Excellent. The hotel was spotless and the staff was great. The bed was very comfortable and the linens were nice. The location is great as well. Just a 2 minute walk to the pedestrian only blocks of Main Street. I'll definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel San Buena last weekend. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, and the staff were fantastic—friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our visit. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting again!

Staff is courteous, respectful, and responsive. Room was very clean, quiet, and impressive. Location was very convenient to downtown restaurants and farmers market. Street parking was readily available. Only negative was the room had very few outlets and limited shelf spaces. All in all I would recommend a stay at the Hotel San Buena and when my travels bring me back to Ventura I would definitely stay there again.

It started out a little iffy because there was no storage space in the room-no closet, no dresser, no counter space. But an employee named Sierra saved the day. She moved us to another room and brought in a hanging rack and a small set of drawers on which we could put stuff on top. Once we were set up like that we could enjoy the beautiful restored property. The staff is great and the location downtown is perfect, quiet but a block or two to amazing restaurants and such. Easy street parking was free. The on site bar had limited offerings but no matter due the location downtown. Spotlessly clean! Nice stay

I love the historic aspect of this property! I really wish they had more amenities such as a breakfast or perhaps a full bar, but I understand that they are limited and what they can offer
