    Dirty Smelly Roaches Unsafe area

Well the shower had 2 spiders that had their webs attached to the shower spicket. The tub took hours to drain so one is limited to how long you could shower. Basically did the necessity wash and got out. Mattress had to be 20-30 yrs old as I has back problem after the 2nd night on it. Spend a few more bucks and go down the street to Best Western.

The hotel was a deal for Ventura and was very close to downtown.

I like Ventura County. I like the proximity to both LA and Santa Barbara. I like the proximity to the Ventura beaches. The pool was dirty and the refrigerator was like an ice box that made my food too frozen to eat and exploded a carbonated drink. There WAS ALSO A nice couple of cigarette burns in the bed spread.

Stated the trailers be in for the boots and Bruce festival because it was only two blocks away from the concert area the MOTEL OK it’s old the MOTEL so the little ran down better than that. It was OK.

The bed was soft enough and I especially loved the burn holes on the bottom of the comforter. The woman asked me if I wanted to change out the bedding and I said iit was fine. There was a loud guttural rattle your bones noise coming from somewhere a couple of days in a row around 6 am. I wondered if there were just bad pipes for the water or if someone was using some kind of odd electrical equipment up in their room… Also, if the pool wasn’t going to have water in it, it probably should have been labeled as a skate for all to attract some more high fallutimg customers… But first they would need to clear the trash out of it. Yes the pool wasn’t littered with trash, and up to 15 occupants deserve better. Also the refrigerator had 2 modes as far as I could see - Freezer or Off. I woke up to an exploded carbonated drink from the “refrigerator.” Good times.

Room was organized and cleaned when I left and came back The hot water for the shower didn’t work properly, every time I turned it on it would keep going and making itself hotter and on top of that it sounded like a lawnmower was starting every time I tried to even turn it on. I’ve never seen that before ever. The towels had stains on them. And there was about 2 cockroaches the morning I woke up

    Low price. Very helpful staff.

The sheets seemed clean which was a plus but the entire room was in dire need of renovation & deep cleaning. Hair on towels, mold on bath walls, broken tiles, dirty carpet, drapes hung by staples & first aid tape. Cleaners were there behind schedule late so i was unable to check in until an hour late. I’m hopeful they can turn it around but as it is now, I would not recommend as first choice

I guess you get what you pay for.

Place is a dump. Blood splatters on the walls and pillowcase, bullet hole in wall, locks didn’t work, massive hole in front door, toilet flooded the entire bathroom, tagging inside of the closet, amongst other things. Told the front desk about it and got a switch of a room. It was a smidge bit better but still ghetto. The older couple that are in the front (owners); made up a lot of excuses of why things were how they were. A lot of rooms not ready by check in. Angry customers who were waiting for their rooms to be ready. $90 a night….i guess you get what you pay for.

    The price

  • Engine customer Jun 2026

I booked it because it was a quick overnight stay that fit my budget, even though it was 15 miles away from my destination. Anything closer was 2 to 2½ times the price. Air conditioning and parking were both fine. There's a convenience store next door. The pool was empty. Not surprised. The weather wasn't cooperating at all, so no harm done. Tom Bodett was right, "All rooms look the same with the lights off." I would stay there again, but it would be only on solo trips.

An actual key was given. There were locks on the door, but one of them needed to be “pumped” so that we can unlocked the door. There were two TV’s in the room. One worked and another did not. The working TV seemed to froze a lot. Uncovered plastic cups were provided in the room. The bathroom does not have a fan and the window would not open. The floor seemed grimey. We had two beds, but we only used one. The bed was very unstable. The sheets seemed old and questionable. The walls were paper thin and we could hear other people’s conversations. I am not surprised if the neighbors could smell my partner’s “big” business.

Do not stay here!! The bathroom has mold all around the tub/shower. The towels are very old. This motel really need to be demolished and replaced. The front desk area is absolutely filthy. I can’t believe it was on the website. The photos shown online are deceiving. Not a good stay but was unable to get my money back.

  • Engine customer Jun 2026

Nothing- False advertising The room was filthy and full of Black Mold!! The whole room looked like a gas station restroom. Walls were disgusting and floors were duck taped. DID NOT STAY!! Left immediately.

Pictures of the rooms are AI generated, not the real room picture. Rouches infected, AC not working and so on... Not advisable hotel to stay.
