Great location at an affordable price! Loved the health food/juice store across the street. Next to the entrance to the 101 but quiet in the room with the air condition on. Perfect for my needs.

This was a last minute stay booked but the room had good value for the price. Staff at counter was efficient and polite , the room was very clean as welllas the property. It was convenient and in walking distance to ocean and the main street shops. Dont snooze on this place

This is a small 40 room facility that is dated. While it appears that the rooms were updated and refurbished, the exterior has crumbling concrete, uneven stairs, and is need of a paint job. Nevertheless, the staff were attempting to keep it clean in spite of messy patrons. The rooms were austere, having an almost Zen-like simplicity buy were quite functional. The mattress slanted downwards towards the edges and had depressions that didn’t quite match my body. However, the room was close to the events and restaurants I wanted to go to so I could walk easily to them. In spite of the shortcomings, the price made it a good value.

price. so loud. righty next to freeway and main road.

The location was close to downtown and to the start of the bike event we were in town for. We could easily bike to breakfast before the event, ride to the event, then ride to the hotel after. Since it is located downtown, we could walk to dinner and breakfast the next night. I know most Motel 6's are right on the highway, but this one was extra noisy it seemed. I assume the Country Music Event the second night was the reason for the expensive hotel rooms this weekend, but it was a lot of money for a Motel 6 room.

Basic but clean rooms. Free parking and pretty central location. Good for getting to beach and also restaurants , bars and shops. Some noise from freeway which runs behind the motel.

Very conveniently located, close to the Amtrak station and city centre. The room was nice and clean. Great for a one night stay. I am very sensitive to sound and the fridge in the room was a bit loud. I managed to sleep nonetheless.

Run. You get what you pay for doesn’t have to mean a hotel gets a pass on poor unsanitary maintenance. On our way to the hotel, we received a call from the office stating that our card was declined. We were confused because we hadn’t checked in yet and we had money in our card. We drove in at 7pm to a homeless powwow in the parking lot. Mind you, we had our 2 kids under 2 in the car. When my husband went to check in, the man at reception said our card DID go through after all. We walked into the room and before we sat down or even brought our stuff in, my husband inspected the room. Upon slightly moving the refrigerator, multiple roaches ran out. We left and when my husband politely asked for a refund, the receptionist questioned him on why we wanted our refund. When my husband addressed the roach infestation, the man gave him a look in disbelief. It wasn’t until my husband told him we had video evidence that he agreed to refund us. The only positive thing I can say about this place is that we received our refund. Do yourself a favor and just pay a little more for somewhere safe and somewhere you don’t have to worry about bringing souvenir roaches back to your home.
