We absolutely love Ventura and have had nothing but good experiences with this hotel. It was a much needed relaxing trip. Can’t wait to come back.

The room was clean and quaint. There were some small maintenance tweaks that could have made the stay more enjoyable. For example the recessed lighting directly above the bed doesn't have a lens cover, so you see right into the lightbulb. The refrigerator was making a loud gurgling sound continuously which wasn't a dealbreaker for us as we have a fountain outside of our window at our home and it could almost sound like one, but can imagine it could be challenging for someone else. The staff were friendly and the location was great as it was walking distance to shops and restaurants. An historic building which had a nice solarium atrium which was enjoyable in the mornings, the breakfast was standard.

Clean, comfortable, and close to the beach and all the shoppes. The breakfast was also pretty good. There was no streaming services and no pool.

Rooms are DATED! We stay here every year because we go to Dallas Cowboys training camp and I think this will be the last year. Love the location, staff is usually friendly but the rooms need to be updated. We had so many gnats in our room and the beds were so uncomfortable. Our hot water handle in shower was stuck and once we could loosen it we couldn’t tighten it enough to prevent water from running! On last morning there the hotel had no hot water!! Tried to let someone know when we checked out but no staff around to be found. Such a shame but won’t be returning.

The staff was nice and we had a very cute cozy room 💕

They don’t have enough parking space. The breakfast was poorer than expected. The front desk lady, Adriana was really helpful.

After given a parking pass, when I arrived there were no parking spots. I was there for 3 nights with the same issue! Won’t be back!!

The continental breakfast was very basic don't expect anything better than the waffles . I did not appreciate some guest smoking Marijuana in their balcony. I think the property manager needs to police that. Overall it was good for Motel pretending to be Inn.

Location was good, pleasant feel to the lobby The old style AC was intermittently loud and couldn't hold a stable temperature. In the morning everything we had was damp.

Location Beds uncomfortable and noisy location.

Our room need a new mattress it as pretty worn sunk in the middle. Very good location to explore by foot, a lot of access to local spot near by within walking distance.

The bathtub was a bit funky and the jets in the spa were very weak.
