Decent room. Good location. Decent breakfast spread. The window coverings are ugly and atrocious. There was also a stain on one of the window coverings. It’s great that they wash their towels with bleach. But everything very obviously smells like bleach

The bathroom was extremely dirty and smelled terrible. It was filled with hair, and the walls were covered in dirt. Unfortunately a very bad experience!

There’s a lamp in room 212 is not working when turning off or on.

Easy check in, great room, nice breakfast area and very close to downtown,

I just love the Clocktower Inn. It’s very basic and old, half the stuff doesn’t work, lol, but the people are great, and the location to Main Street can’t be beat. It’s rustic, charming, not your luxury hotel experience, but I’ve been staying here for years and years and choose it everytime I visit my favorite city in the world.

+it’s in downtown by all the bars, restaurants and sites. It’s also walking distance to the beach. +Breakfast is delicious and staff is super nice. +Room with fireplace and balcony overlooking the park, church and fountains was great. -Suggestions: adding window screens to allow for the windows to open would be helpful for people that enjoy fresh air. Thank you

If you are looking for a true "Hotel California" experience, this is it. Sure, you can stay at a chain hotel, and they look the same no matter where you are. The Clocktower is unique, historic, and it just IS California. I stay here a few nights each summer during my Southern California trip.

We were delighted with the family and will definitely stay here again. Everything is so close; it was a wonderful experience. We loved the breakfast, and the staff was attentive.

It was a very clean and well organized property. The room was nicely decorated and the patio was nice. Breakfast lounge and lobby has a nice atmosphere.

This is an older property California style which was lovely. Our room was sparkling clean and had a large balcony we enjoyed. The property grounds were really well maintained and lovely. During the week it is a continental breakfast with mini waffles, hard boiled eggs, cereal, yogurt and toast/bagels. Plenty to start your day. I believe there is a hot breakfast on weekends. The hotel is so convenient to downtown Ventura and easy walk to the beach. Great location and will definitely stay there when we visit Ventura again.
