Loved the history home and our room was very comfortable. Shower was good and everything was clean. Check in process was easy. Definitely would stay again if we come back through. We had to get on thr road early so we didn't get a chance to eat breakfast. Everything was great!

Nice rooms, great breakfast although a litter disturbing to see how some a the staff behaved, a little to subservient, to the boss. Nice rooms, although a little cold during the night, no addition covers available. Literally shivered through the night. Waking in the night to see a silhouette of a man in the window was a little freaky. There was a standee of Elvis in the window, we stayed in the Elvis room

Being able to go down the street to Duff Green for the included, fantastic three-course breakfast (place setting photo included) and the little tour of the main floor of the mansion was a nice bonus. Extremely high value for the money. There's no staff on the premises of Halpino, so I was a little uneasy right when I got there because I felt like I was alone. Not sure if someone else was in one of the (I-think-five) rooms already. Some other people came in later, though, and I felt better.

Quaint and quiet. We enjoyed the tour of the mansion and breakfast. Staying several blocks from mansion, we were walking through a sketchy neighborhood.

Clean room. Low water pressure. Located in a neighborhood, no security. Breakfast was not until 830 and you had to go to a different location for the restaurant

If you’re looking for a real historical place to stay, this is it. Very well maintained..bathrooms in our building, Halpino, was excellent..all redone. Bed very comfortable, floors creeked but very old building. Breakfast was at another building you could walk too. Was excellent and fancy. Was in a further area from historic downtown but easy drive. Historic it is perfect for Vicksburg.
