Everything, beautiful breakfast in the morning right down the street. Georgia was my server she was outstanding, friendly, and kind

Location Historical. Walk to dinner and breakfast

Amazing value for the expense. Clean, comfortable, and quiet facilities. Being able to go down the street to Duff Green for the included, fantastic three-course breakfast (place setting photo included) and the little tour of the main floor of the mansion was a nice bonus. Extremely high value for the money. There's no staff on the premises of Halpino, so I was a little uneasy right when I got there because I felt like I was alone. Not sure if someone else was in one of the (I-think-five) rooms already. Some other people came in later, though, and I felt better.

Clean, quiet, comfortable. Historic background is phenomenal.

Quaint and quiet. We enjoyed the tour of the mansion and breakfast. Staying several blocks from mansion, we were walking through a sketchy neighborhood.

A great stay, especially given the reasonable price. Rick was very thoughtful and helpful to me over the phone. I’ll be back for sure.

It was awesome: Quiet, comfortable, clean. It was so much better than staying at a hotel. We will be back. My husband acting up. ?

Very charming guest house. Called the number given, but noone answered, it took awhile for someone from the main house to call us back, when we arrived to get codes to let us into the guest house when we arrived. Went to have breakfast, but could not get anyone to come to the door and let us in, so we went somewhere else.

All was good.

We loved the history and antiquity of the room! The neighborhood looks a little sketchy but doesn’t affect the stay
-
Clean room. Low water pressure. Located in a neighborhood, no security. Breakfast was not until 830 and you had to go to a different location for the restaurant

Beautiful property,well kept and comfortable
-
Comfortable room, but no elevator. Coffee and water onsite were good. The property was advertised as having breakfast, but we had to take a walk down the street to the mansion to eat. No elevator - stairs should’ve been advertised or disclosed. I am 70, and lugged quite a few bags up from the car.

Great shower, comfortable bed. NA

We got exposure to a much higher property at low end prices. It was a glorious breakfast in a beautiful property, even though 900 feet from the rented room. We met some wonderful fellow guests at the evening wine offering, and also at breakfast the following day at the mansion. We were not expecting stairs, and being on a long-distance trip we had a lot of bags. Also, the property was advertised as a breakfast included accommodation, which usually means on site, so having to walk a couple of blocks away for breakfast was unexpected..

Historic place, nice people!!

The breakfast was an elegant affair with delicious food. The location was perfect in the historical district. Parking is available right outside the door. Our room was spacious, comfortable and very quiet. The owner of the hotel was very available and went out of her way to be helpful.

If you’re looking for a real historical place to stay, this is it. Very well maintained..bathrooms in our building, Halpino, was excellent..all redone. Bed very comfortable, floors creeked but very old building. Breakfast was at another building you could walk too. Was excellent and fancy. Was in a further area from historic downtown but easy drive. Historic it is perfect for Vicksburg.

The breakfast was the most formal breakfast I have ever had in my life. The lock on the front door works fine. They just need one that locks automatically when closed instead of relying on the user.
