First of all i rented 2 rooms the elevators were down and I have bad knees and had to walk up the stairs one of the rooms didn't have shower curtain

For the price I paid for this suite, I expected better. Nothing was clean in the room. The sheets were dirty, as well as the tub and toilet. There was a lot of hair on the floor in the bathroom. The fixtures in the room were missing or loose. The area where the carpet met the floor going into the kitchen was unfinished, and my 3 year old son ripped his sock on it. The refrigerator was rusty. My wife spent a good amount of time cleaning the entire suite to make it usable. We even got new sheets for the bed from the front desk and let her know that the room wasn’t clean. She did say that she would leave a note on the board, I assume for housekeeping. We did not sleep well either. The bed and pillows were not comfortable. If we had another option, we certainly would have left. And to top it all off the elevator didn’t work. You will never see us again.

The elevator was broken The scenery

Upon my arrival I was told the elevator was down but since my room was on the first floor it wasn’t a problem. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. I enjoyed my stay.

The carpet, in the hotel hallway, was stained and dirty. The carpet in our room had snags and a tear which made the property feel worn and less clean. Many of the guests drove commercial pickups and trucks, with a couple large semi trucks and travel buses taking up much of the parking. Those guests stayed multiple nights. The fitness room was closed due to on going construction inside the hotel. The women's restroom in the lobby was out of order. It is a quiet location, and the hotel staff is very friendly.

Obviously under and desperately needs renovation. Can’t believe that this is a Marriott.

Wonderful place to stay
-
A clean and comfortable hotel with extremely friendly staff. I stayed here many times for work purposes, and I highly recommend this location. Lots of construction hinders the use of certain amenities, but this is understandable in the improvment of the property.

The staff was really nice.

The staff was friendly and we had a beautiful view of the Mississippi River. It’s under renovation and needs more work, especially the floors.

Property under repair.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel wasn’t in the best of areas the outside of the hotel was showing signs of dirt and the entrance was poor. Our room smelt of damp and windows were filthy. We woke this morning to find there had been a flood in the lobby. No maintenance men were there just the poor receptionist putting sheets and towels over the floor and trying to mop the water. There was only three tables to sit at for breakfast due to this. Breakfast was served on paper plates and plastic cutlery. Before we checked out the water had spread to the lift.
