We booked a room for 4th of July and when we went to check in the econolodge gave our room away and we were left stranded. The absolute worst experience I’ve ever had with any booking app I’ve ever had. Would not recommend this app to anyone and will never be using them again

The area around this hotel is great but the place itself is horrible. The room was given to us dirty, flies insides, no trash can and room, furniture drawer was in pieces out the furniture, was a smoking room. The sheets had cigarette holes water in shower would not drain properly. We saw the cleaning lady in the same hallway and requested clean towels and her response was I yet to see decent towels with no stains on them! Stay anywhere but here. Worst experience ever!

don’t come to the property, don’t spend your money here. When we first arrive, the TV was broke and there was dead bugs. we called maintenance to come fix it. They said that they’ll be there in 20 to 30 minutes, they never showed up. The sheets and covers on the beds are thin as hell. The pillows on the bed is thin as hell. There’s no extra blankets or pillow pillows. The bed is loud as hell and good luck trying to sleep with all the noise. The only good thing about this place is that mini fridge freezer works and that AC works and that hot water in the shower works.

Everything needs to be upgraded to match the area around the hotel

There's nothing to like. It's a run down hotel with no expectations for improvement There's nothing there to like. Let's not forget about the roaches that were running around

Nothing,terrible experience It was full of roaches, there were no towels, everything was sticky and dirty they should demo the place and rebuild a new one

Room was disgusting. The room had the worst cigarette smoke smell. There was roaches. We had absolutely no towels and when asking for them multiple times they told us 15 minutes and still never received towels. The workers are very rude and lazy

Nothing No breakfast, pillows and sheets were not cleaned, no soap and shampoo, clogged sink, dirty room with broken TV. Room was smoking while saying no-smoking.

I didn't end up staying after entering the room and seeing it in inhabitable. Owner refused to change my room. When I requested a refund the manager refused and told me that I can leave. Do not stay at this property it deserves to have the Econolodge branding stripped.

staff are rude and called me a liar I had to kick my door to get it open. Trash everywhere outside. No.pillow case on my pillow, asked for one and never got it. Will never stay here again.

Clean room staff was nice

Don’t waste your time here. Check in is listed as 4pm. However even after 430p the housekeeper was still in my room cleaning. Left without putting on bedding and left a dirty blanket on the floor. Please don’t waste your time at this location unless you have no other choice.

Extremely dirty room cards kept not working no towels no ever on office to fix issues

There was no breakfast the sheets were so thin I froze all night and there were holes in them and don’t get me started on the pillows and the room had dead roaches in it

Room was dirty .. remote control chewed up. Bathroom falling apart.. bed sheets with holes and dirty.. floor delaminating.. Smelled horrible ..no breakfast like advertised..

Hotel will cancel reservation if you don’t checkin before 8pm with no refund. Place and staff were super sketchy. Not recommended for families. I don’t know why this place is even listed on the this site.

Upon entering the room, there was a mildew smell, and you can tell that the room hasn’t been in use for quite some time. There were large cobwebs at the entrance of the door and almost every corner of the room. We selected a king size room with a hot tub for celebration of Father’s Day, but based on the condition of the room, we didn’t use it. We were not given enough towels, the bathroom sink water pressure was low., the bath tub was not clean. There were no trash bins in the room, we had to use a dirty ice bucket for trash. The bed had old sheets with holes, and thankfully the staff came by and changed the sheets. There were no lightbulbs in the lamps and again thankfully the staff brought in lightbulbs. The floor was unswept by evidence of dirt and old grapes left on the floor. We asked for another room, unfortunately they didn’t have another room available.and they were sold out . Many other hotels in the area were sold out because of the holiday weekend . We came to Virginia Beach to visit our grandchildren for the first time and it’s unfortunate that we had an unpleasant stay at Econo Lodge Inn and Suites.
