It was nice but the elevator were awful. 10-20 minute waits to get on one The bathroom could have been cleaned a little better

Beach view from my room balcony was maybe one of the only good things I can say about this hotel. I’ve stayed at Hilton hotels and this is one of the worst ones I’ve stayed in. First starting with my room, my sheets had holes in them and had a small black speck of something on my sheets. I called the front desk and they stated they would send someone to the room. I went to the front desk and spoke to a manager and they said they would send up the engineer. The engineer came to the room and sprayed the curtains with a scented solution that had the room smelling until we left, they never treated the bed instead they said it was the responsibility of the housekeepers. The housekeeper did change the sheets on the bed and inspected the bed for any bugs, the toilet in the bathroom had hair all over it and it looked like the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned. I had to ask them to basically clean the entire room including the bathroom while I was present. The bed was the worse I woke up each morning that I was there with my entire right side aching as well as my lower back. Lets not talk about the elevators, they had 3 elevators and only one was working until the end of Friday. You would’ve thought that on a holiday weekend they would make sure the elevators were working for a busy crowd. Needless to say I would not stay here again

I reserved a room at the Hilton Oceanfront Va Beach for one night on 7/28 through Expedia for $500 that came w/a view of a parking structure. At check-in we were informed that they had no public parking for guests so my friend & I were charged $50 each to park in the hotels attached parking structure. The lobby, staff, restaurant & pool were in excellent condition but an elevator to the 10th floor took over 20 minutes each time because they only had 1 bank of elevators for almost 300 rooms plus numerous event rooms being rented out.The room itself was standard double beds & clean but immediately noticed the toilet was clogged & after multiple attempts by staff who would declare it fixed only to overflow on to the floor so we had no choice but to use the lobby toilet the rest of the night which for safety reasons we both accompanied each other. At 7am we were awoken by a maintenance man who made it worse w/water now running into the room & he attemted to control it by throwing bath towels on it and then left. Three hours later & w/out a shower we were told they would comp us one parking charge & 20% room refund which I felt was not sufficient but we had already waited 40minutes while the clerk consulted a manager regarding our situation & we had a flight to catch. It’s now been a week & still haven’t received a refund/response regarding my attempts to settle the issue. Signed A disappointed & frustrated Hilton guest.

I enjoyed my stay overall. My initial check in I was not provided complete parking instructions and not given my breakfast passes.

Great stay!

Everything was great but we had an ocean view room and when you sat on the balcony, there were huge AC fans that ran all the time and were loud. The rooms were great, though and if you don’t plan on sitting outside, the fans are no problem. The happy hour was awesome and the bar/restaurant was very nice!! I would give the hotel an excellent rating except for the fans and you have to pay $28 each day in the parking garage. I think it should be a one time fee.

Overall, our stay was beautiful and we had a great experience. The hotel itself was nice and we enjoyed our time. My only suggestion would be for housekeeping standards at check-in. Personally, I feel items like toilet paper, tissue boxes, and body wash should be replaced with new ones for each guest. Seeing half-used rolls or partially used items can feel less sanitary since those are personal-use products that previous guests have handled. Starting each room with fresh supplies would make the stay feel even cleaner and more welcoming. Other than that, everything else was great.

Doug, the valet at the Hilton in Virginia Beach, made our stay even better. From the moment we arrived, he was incredibly friendly, professional, and accommodating. He always greeted us with a smile, was quick to help with our vehicle, and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. It’s rare to come across someone who genuinely cares about providing outstanding customer service, and Doug absolutely does. He deserves recognition for the exceptional job he does. Thank you, Doug, for making such a positive impression—we’ll definitely remember your kindness, DOUG Is the GOAT!!! Real recognize real !

Room was nice with a beautiful view and the rooftop pool was great. Air conditioning in the room didn’t work well, maintenance came to fix it 3x and it still wasn’t functioning properly.
