Ocean Cove Motel

The location was ideal. Mostly clean and very comfortable. Stephen was a fantastic host and there’s security on the property overnight. It was just me a single female and my two daughters and we felt safe as could be. There were a few bugs in the room, maybe roaches, and a spider but definitely looked like they came in from outside. Not an infestation. As an older property it was nice. Would be great if there was a microwave.

This motel is a giant cardboard box that is designed to break so they can keep the 200$ sneaky security deposit.

I liked the location of the hotel. The owner showed us to the room and parking lot. The owner texted us about our estimated time of arrival. The rooms were clean. Someone should be at the registration desk at least during the day.

Studio was clean good WiFi & ac kid loved the room kitchen was great for simple stuff. Nice short walk to the beach and Walgreens to get anything you need lots of great restaurants, events, & shops nearby. Room was not ready on arrival during check in hours. Booked a room with a pullout sofa and got bunk beds instead. Very loud cars driving on the street late at night in front of the room.

Owner is friendly and very helpful , just walking distance to the beach, very convenient for everything you need.

The property is a quick 2 block walk to the Boardwalk - what a great location. Parking is included, linens are a crisp white and clean, the staff was very friendly, and during a very hot week the AC kept the room cool.

Our stay for the long weekend at the Ocean Cove was perfect. The owner Steve walked us to our room on arrival to make sure we were happy with the accommodations. He also recommended local restaurants that were perfect. Having free on-site parking all weekend was clutch. The room was perfect, clean, kitchenette let us have breakfast in the room before walking just one block for Boardwalk access and the beach. The reservation reminds you, bring your own cooking and eating utensils, but the have the stove, over, coffeemaker, fridge and freezer! Thanks for a great stay we will be back for sure!

We had a kitchenette room - located on the 3rd floor. It was a walk-up. There were issues with the lock but we sorted it out. The kitchenette had no cutlery, no glasses, no dishes. No paper towels. No kettle - making tea in a coffee maker tastes badly. The air conditioner was very noisey. There were no drawers, not enough coat hangers. I had to ask for a second set of sheets and a pillow for the pull-out sofa. No hairdryer or iron/ironing board. And the shower curtain needs to be replaced. The water stains were highly visible.
