SureStay Studio by Best Western Virginia Beach Oceanfront

The view of the ocean Sand and water everywhere. I borrowed a vacuum and vacuumed around the bed frame because it had sand.

It’s oceanfront..easy access to the beach One elevator…the faucet in the bathroom dripped constantly…the shower head if on certain setting sprayed the whole bathroom. They knew in advance we were using the pullout couch. I had to ask for extra bedding..so I guess bring your own bedding even for the bed in the room.

Hotel looks a lot nicer in pictures than it is in person. It is clean and well maintained but could use an update as everything is quite dated. A doormat near the balcony would be helpful to get sand off your feet when coming in from the balcony.

I like the property. It was close to the beach nice view quiet grounds were clean the area where we walk to the pool was clean. It was a very good location for walking and accessing the beach. The property was good. The only thing I did not like is that the housekeeper did not keep the room clean for us or take out the trash or change the sheets on the bed the whole time we was there.

Unbeatable Views, Endless Sunshine, and Great Memories! ​If you are looking for a beach getaway with direct access to the ocean, this place delivers! The highlight of our stay was easily the view—sitting out and looking at the ocean every day felt like a million-dollar experience. Because you are quite literally steps from the beach, a little sand ends up everywhere, but that is just part of the charm of living right on the coast! ​I’ve seen a few negative reviews online, but honestly, if you’re looking for something wrong with a room or facility, you’re always going to find it. If what you actually want is a clean room, a comfy main bed, and a location that can’t be beat, this place is it. ​The property itself is very well taken care of—the pool area is kept spotless, making it a perfect spot to unwind. Beyond the facilities, the staff deserves a massive shoutout. They are some of the hardest-working people around and clearly care about making sure guests have a great stay. ​The only minor tweak I’d suggest for management is updating the pull-out couch, as it could definitely use a fresh mattress for a bit more comfort. ​All in all, the stunning backdrop, fantastic team, and prime location made for a wonderful stay. We would gladly come back!
