My room was dirty, no housekeeping for any day, no shampoo on my bathroom, sand all over the living room in addition main door on my room didn’t work well. They didn’t take out my trash. Not enough towels.

The place had writing in the couches and the door would not properly shut and lock because it had been kicked in before. We checked out and went to the hotel next door

Stayed in room 313 the front of the door smelled stink of urine, bed sheets had stains , stains on the walls , sofa bed was dirty.We complained to management ,they said someone would come up to sort it out, but no one came. Checked out couldn’t stay the night .Horrible place.

I will never reserved again Marjac Suites Virginia Beach Oceanfront. The front desk manager treated me with disrespect and then canceled my reservation because I was assisting another couple who didn’t speak English. Instead of supporting a guest who was helping, they used it as a reason to remove my booking. It was embarrassing and left me without a room. If this is how management treats guests, I can’t recommend this hotel. Also, they didn’t refund what I paid it was horrible experience. Expedia didn’t help me neither.

Looking at the beach We had lotion where the soap was supposed to be. Long brown hair hanging on the clean bath towel. All the soap containers, shampoo and everything was empty when we got there. Floor dirty.

I stayed in room 712 and want to start by praising the staff. The service from the employees is excellent—a true 10 out of 10. In particular, the person working the front desk was doing an amazing job taking care of all the guests checking in at that peak time. However, management urgently needs to hire more staff. Leaving just one person at the front desk during check-in hours causes long wait times, and people understandably lose their patience.Similarly, the housekeeping staff are incredibly kind and always do their absolute best with a smile. The real problem is that the company leaves them short-staffed, which directly affects the cleanliness of the hotel. The rooms were not properly cleaned: the beds, mattresses, and sofa bed have severe stains (including urine stains), the TVs are dusty, the fridge is dirty, the towels are soiled, and the shower curtain has mold. The kitchen was the worst part, as it still had leftover food from previous guests. The sofa bed looks so worn out and dirty that it looks like it was pulled out of the trash. I do not blame the cleaning staff at all; I blame the company for not hiring enough people to maintain the property.We stayed here 3 years ago, and compared to this year, the hotel's condition has deteriorated drastically. If they do not invest in proper upkeep right away, this place will be completely run down in a few years. It is deeply disappointing because this hotel has.amazing potential to attract tourists.

I stayed there 3 days and not once did they deliver clean towels or toilet paper. The stove top didn’t work and the microwave was missing the glass plate. Everything was dirty. Lesson learned, you get what you pay for!

I was there for 4 days/3 nights . Location was perfect but the hotel was outdated for-sure . Black mold around the pool walls, hallways smelted of urine . Only one elevator which did not function correctly. Hair on bathroom walls and inside the tub . Stains on curtains and sheets and finally the toilet. The toilet had so many marks on them and was sliding out of place because it was loose . For $900 I at least expect a clean toilet . Parking was extremely tight . Won’t stay again but again location was perfect

The hotel was nice but I'd say the only complaint I have is the single elevator in the hotel. Carrying luggage up and down floors was a hassle with a single elevator.

L’ascenseur unique est lent et petit. Les corridor menant aux chambres sont sale et nauséabond. 3. L’employer au comptoir a un terrible accent qu’il en est difficile de communiquer. 4. La chambre est terriblement sale. On a demandé un balai mais jamais eu. On en a acheté un au Walmart. 5. Hôtel qui s’affiche avec cuisine mais aucun accessoire. On a du s’acheter le nécessaire au Walmart. 6. La cafetière fourni est à jeter au vidange tellement elle est sale. 7. Le téléphone, si vous avez l’intention de vous en servir, vous n’avez pas de fil pour le brancher. 8. Le canapé lit est d’une rare malpropreté. Mes enfants n’ont pas dormi dedans. Et si vous vous assoyiez dessus, nous vous conseillons de mettre un drap, que vous n’avez pas, et qu’on vous amènera pas non plus: solution est chez Walmart. 9. Les serviettes sont manquantes. Vous devez toujours les demander. Elles sont jamais prête. On vous dit qu’ils iront vous les porter. Vous ne les aurez jamais. 10. Rideau de douche moisi, le fond du bain est répugnant. 11. 2 chaises fourni. Pas de table. Ils nous amène une minuscule table basse. Bon appétit. 12. Amener votre papier de toilette. Sinon bonne visite chez Walmart. Encore. 13. Air climatisé désuet. Les étages du haut vous dégoûteront sur la tête et dans le cou. Et ++ problème

Has a great view to the ocean, but Balcony is very small, floor need better sweeping you feel sand on floor when you walk barefoot.

I honestly wish I could give this hotel 0 stars. Unfortunately, I have very little positive to say about our stay. Yes, the hotel has an ocean view, but other than the location/view, the experience was extremely disappointing. From the moment we arrived, there were problems. The internet was not working, and the receptionist actually asked us if we could provide a hotspot. The parking area was extremely small and crowded, which made parking very difficult. The cleanliness of the room was another major issue. The AC unit was visibly dirty, the shower head was filthy, and the shower curtain holder was broken and could not close properly because it looked like it was about to fall apart. The sofa bed was also dirty, with a lot of sand and leftover clutter that appeared to have been left behind by the previous guest. That was especially disappointing because cleanliness should be a basic expectation when paying to stay at a hotel. The bathroom was extremely small, toilet bowl being running all day and for a room with six people, they provided only one roll of toilet paper. We had to deal with that ourselves, which should not have been necessary. The hotel also has only one elevator, and it is extremely slow. I can only imagine how frustrating this must be for guests staying on the upper floors. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone! Don’t fall from all the positive review in this place.

The staff was very attentive. Making sure you had everything you needed. I would stay again, even the elevator being slow.

I will say the gentleman that was working the desk when we arrived was super nice and helpful. I am used to always staying at the Hampton Inns when I travel so I am guilty of holding everything else to that standard. I should just state the facts not opinions. Everything was just kind of not real clean for the facility in general..worn and very tired looking, not fresh. The room was clean enough,..both TVs were not working upon arrival meaning a trip back down stairs, then to wait for him to arrive to re-set them. No problem really because he was super nice and helpful, The security lock on the door was broken, the smoke alarm was missing from the wall and there were 2 holes in the wall with aluminum foil stuffed in them. there were only 3 towels for 5 people meaning another trip down stairs on the filthy elevator. the windows with a fabulous ocean front view were greasy and looked like they had not been cleaned in years. The windows at the lobby were just nasty. I guess it's things like that that may not be a real big deal but optics usually generate the first opinions. If the staff had not been so nice this would be a "bad" review but thankfully their kindness and humor saved the day!

Did not like the lobby or the elevator. Too crunched up and had to ask for towels and toilet paper all the time. when we arrived at 4:00 the room was not available till 5:00 on Monday. check in time should be 4:00. I worked with Expedia and was charged an extra $176.92. Worker at desk didn’t act like he understood that.
