I liked that we had a beach view

Whatever ppl say this is a great spot when u at the beach u not gna stay in the room anyway so on that note balcony was awesome and the barge for the fireworks was right in front of my room so great stay and will go again 😀 😊 🙂 😄

Although the pictures online looked good, the place was a dive. The front office guy (when he finally showed up) was helpful and nice. The room was questionably clean, everything was run down, water running in the bathtub/shower, hole in the wall, etc. It was on the beach at the boardwalk which we wanted, but we won't stay here again.

We had booked a room at the sea view hotel, everything that was promised was not included. There was no popcorn, the water machine was out of order, the pool had hair and sand all through it. We had booked an extra day to surprise the kids, and we were promised to keep the same room, but came morning house keeping was knocking on the door telling us the new guests were arriving shortly, that we had to move our stuff 4 floors down, with NO CARTS! We arrive to our new room, its dirty, and the kicker, the TV does not work, so we had spent all weekend with no TV. The only staff nice/helpful, was the maintenance man, who said that it was unexceptable. The parking is terrible, many cars that don't belong,to where the residents staying have no where to go. You cant even sit on the balcony and enjoy the beach, because the whole hotel smells like weed. So much more to say, not enough space. Moral of the story, id highly recommend finding somewhere else to stay.

Overall our experience was good. location, good. Near many stores, restaurants and a nice Convenience store right in the corner. The staff were friendly, welcoming and professional including the maintenance guy and the janitor. Things that we were not satisfied with. For a smaller hotel with not many amenities you would think they would offer more discounts or make sure that guest rooms were equipped and fully stocked with certain things. Only had 10% discount with a pizza place nearby however beings that they don’t include breakfast there is a great restaurant directly infront of the hotel that offers breakfast, lunch, dinner and would be nice if they also had a discount with them for guests. The facility seemed to be clean and maintained for the most part. The building itself could use a little more upkeep. The chair in our room had stains on it, Patio door was hard to open, Ac unit did not have a cover, bathroom fan did not work, door didn’t lock. Coffee maker had a dead earwig bug inside it, Coffee maker was also missing filter, a room for 4 guest staying two days only had two small decaf bags, the biggest complaint I would have is sitting on the patio enjoying our morning, we seen a group of 5 guys jumping out and over the patio from the room next to us with clothes being thrown out the window. I assume they were not supposed to be there as hotel service desk worker/ manager came out and told them they had to be out. This did not make us feel safe for our kids.

The beach view was perfect easy access to the beach. The only complaint was the elevator long waits and no free breakfast.

Great view of the beach from balcony. Cold AC, soft sheets. Parking garage attached with elevator. if raining keeps you dry !!

The room was very clean and the property was well maintained. Every day the entire hotel was cleaned and mopped. The staff was very nice and super helpful with their recommendations. Will definitely stay there again.

We stayed 2 nights June 30 - July 2, 2026. Our oceanfront room was clean and comfortable with an amazing view of the morning sunrise. The hotel is in a great location with plenty of shops, restaurants, and night life within walking distance. Jonathan and Marcus were friendly and helpful during our stay. The rate was reasonable also. I will stay here again when visiting Virginia Beach.

Beach views

Clean surroundings. Peasant staff. Only issues was ice machines were broken on the 6st and 8th floor. Had to go to 1st floor for ice. Also TV controller did not work well.

Staff

The building and rooms are very outdated. The beds are old and not very comfortable. The best part was walking out to the beach right from the building.

Room was clean and the beach view was outstanding. Staff treated me and my spouse with nothing but respect.

Great location! Right on the boardwalk with beach and shops just steps away! Loved the balcony looking out at the ocean- sunrise was beautiful! Friendly staff. Vending machines in lobby, which was nice when walking in from the beach. Thank you!

Hotel was very friendly! Afforadable pricing and quick access to the beach! A little upgrading would go along ways however how often are you even in the room at the beach!

We had another wonderful stay! This was our fifth time staying here. The room was very clean, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and the beach was beautiful and relaxing. We always enjoy our time here and look forward to coming back again. Highly recommended!

Tv didn't work , ac acted up , fridge didn't work; rooms had mold you get what you pay for

I’ll be entirely honest with you the pictures of the hotel are really deceiving. It looks a lot nicer cleaner and well maintained a fuel. The towels in my room were dirty with weird stains. There were hairs and sand in the bathtub as well as hairs in the back of the hairdryer, sticking out clear as day the bed as far as I could tell, it was clean, thank God, other than that I was pretty disappointed with the properties a whole. The pool was absolutely disgusting. Hair is flooding in it a bunch of sand and just overall gross. Also, there was zero AC on some of the floors as well as some of the doors going into the building itself i.e. the third floor door going from the parking garage into the building itself was completely unsecured. You didn’t need a key card to get in also in the parking garage. There was trash, overflowing, and left out there the entire time I was there and was never cleaned.
