Schooner Inn

Very poor

All great.

Although we feel that we now need larger rooms, we still enjoy coming here. We love the location at the end of the beach so that we can watch the surfers and sunrise from our balcony. Beds are comfy even though the pillows are not. The pool is fantastic especially when the sea is too rough. Unfortunately this year there was something going on with the water pressure both in the shower and to fill the jetted tub in the room. Hopefully they will address it. We were happy to see that they have better housekeeping staff as well. Overall it was a great stay.

This year was our 7th time in hotel… so obviously its a great place for us but this time when we went book the expensive suites in the lower level… very disappointed with appliances it worked but for the extra $600 you expect different than efficiency rooms. Sofabed? Its a hard wire and a cloth had put pillows to my ribs. Please updates those. we still hope to see you again.

The room was very clean! The room was set on 70 degrees and it never made it below 73 degrees or 74 degrees. Yes the balcony door was shut and not frequently opened. The beds were not to comfortable and one was very loud when my niece moved the slightest. This is a nice place, but could use a makeover.

Possibly the reason for the very dirty and slippery floor. We have stayed here many times. The price is usually very helpful.

Perfect location at the end of the boardwalk with a great oceanfront view.

The Hotel is older but it’s clean and the room was perfect for us. We enjoyed the ocean view on the balcony and the tub was a great addition. Staff was very friendly. We would stay again if in the area. Never stayed in a room before as much as we did this trip because the views were great. Actually extended one extra night to watch the storm come in. Thank you to all

Exceptional

Will definitely be back!!

Great hot tub and beautiful view of 1st st jetty and surfers.

Great beach view very enjoyable.

The location is great and the staff is always friendly and helpful

Not really noisy (quiet enough). Clean sheets and towels. Comfortable beds! Base of toilet not clean. Hand basin should be cleaned more thoroughly. Kitchenette was nice to have. Overall good experience, will visit again.

3rd year in a row staying for the air show. Quiet and laid back .the staff is always great the little guy up front i dont ever catch his name but he has also been there the last couple years and is always so welcoming and also remembers his repeat guest !!! Peaceful area of the beach by the inlet, cant wait to go back! Only wish the balconies were a lil bigger .

Great view from the balcony. Room was clean and the bed and pillws were comfortable. Might be a bit overpriced, considering no breakfast was included. Wifi didn't work, but the staff provided a back up account so we could use our phones.

Front desk was helpful House keeper didn't have his act together. Must have been new.. we came in as he was changing linens. Ask us if we can complain about his work.. you should never ask guests if they have a problem with the service. We didn't say anything.. we said we had to go to the bathroom and he said he'd come back when we left but he didn't come back for hours.. by then we changed our bedding ourselves.

The pool is in the parking lot on the main Street, so I wouldn't plan on spending a lot of time there, but it is quite literally on the beach. My only recommendation is to make sure you do not stay anywhere near the elevator or the ice machine. I felt like I was trying to sleep through world war 3.

Room was clean, but one of the plastic chairs and the side table were dirty. Well stocked room and friendly staff. Love their heated outdoor pool as well as the sunrise view over the ocean. Right next door to a fabulous playground. Main downside was one of the towels and one of the bedspreads had an orange spot (stain) on them, which put me off.
