Great hotel my family really enjoy

Liked the pool, that was the highlight. The room was ok, the metal frame on the bed made it very uncomfortable. The hallways were not airconditioned, and ppl left their trash in the halls, which made them stink like crazy. Parking was close by and convenient

Great location, could use a bit of maintenance work but if you are just wanting a nice place with a great view it is perfect.

Run down hotel. Needs remodeled from top to bottom. Elevators are scary (sudden drops). Limited breakfast unlike advertised.

Room service,towels, both need to be done without customer continuously calling the front desk and reminding them. Also room service needs to replace sheets and comforter not just make the bed. This is the beach , sand will get on the floor each day. Each day they should be swept.

The room had some kind of condensation in and was damp the whole stay. There was a misty flim of water on the floor. It was very uncomfortable.

and repainted. Rooms have a good sound barrier because the hotel made an investment was In the hotel doors. Overall, I dealt with the hotel since it was prepaid but doubt I will ever return. The breakfast reviews are false….bagels, muffins, cereal, yogurt and juice,….That’s it!! I have celiac disease so I went across the street for bacon and eggs each morning and their food was good !

Overall, the Spark by Hilton was not what I had imagined based off the pictures. I will say staff was very excellent. I did notice the sheets were not as clean nor and especially the shower tub I did have a very nice view

I was given the wrong room number by a woman at the front desk. I carried all my bags to the wrong side of the building upstairs. Then the key did not work. I had to go all the way back downstairs with my luggage to let them know. Then the lady told me again the wrong side of the building so I had to go back downstairs again to the front desk to finally get the correct room number from these people. Then their elevator broke and two kids were trapped on the elevator right before I left.

After reading negative reviews I would like to say it was a great hotel for our vacation week. The manager took great care of us, hotel has a beach vibe, newly remodeled, our room was perfect for four. Beds comfortable, room clean, air conditioning great. The pool was right on the beach, poolside Aqua bar and ice cream shop. Great music and atmosphere! Breakfast was just basics. Overall for Virginia Beach a great hotel.

They must have been either short staffed or have staff that just didn't care. There were regularly piles of dirty towels and sheets in the hallways, coffee pots empty and dirty floors everywhere. The despcrition said there were microwaves in the room and there was not, only in the lobby and the breakfast room. Also, parking was charged at $10/day which there was no mention of either. The view was great but that is the only thing good about this hotel.

Expedia shows free parking but it is actually $10 per day at a separate lot across the street. The hotel waived this for me when I showed them the printout of my booking page.

Place was great

Not clean. Breafast buffet has not many options, no hot food. Only muffin, bagel, oat, few fruits, yogurt, boiled eggs, coffee, apple juice, orange juice, tea, cereals.

It was a good location, the partial view was better than we thought. The bed sucked, the free breakfast was terrible with limited options. The hallway was super hot/humid. The elevators were kinda rickety, we had to press the “open door” button a couple different times as it didn’t automatically open when it reached the desired floor. The outdoor furniture was super rusty & worn out. No microwave in the room but two on the 2nd floor. The ice machine on the 2nd floor was broken. The furniture in the room seemed really dated, though the floors were tile and the bathroom was updated. The AC unit was a little older too but it did the job. We did see a few gnats. Also if you like to go to bed early they’re playing loud music all day/evening at the pool/bar area which is right outside the window. Also the parking garage is across the street, & when we got there there were no luggage carts so we had to lug all of our belongings across the street & to the 4th floor. I’m chronically ill & it’s hard on my body to do that. It was the cheapest option for a hotel on the beach so it was decent for the price I guess but I probably wouldn’t stay here again.
