Spark by Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront

The staff was very helpful. We loved the outside pool, ocean view and the handicap accessibility of the beach. The hotel was on the opposite side from all of the other larger hotels so it was pretty peaceful.

The bathroom had pubic hair in the shower there was mold between the grout the bedsheet felt like it had sand in it

The proximity to the beach and boardwalk was great. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had a fantastic view of the ocean. We loved the outdoor pool! Unfortunately, the elevator was on the blink a few of the days and there must have been water damage on the first floor. Otherwise, we will definitely return!

Don’t stay here. One nightmare issue after another. 1st room was filthy dirty. Switched to another room - toilet seat wasn’t screwed onto the toilet. The shower door wasn’t chalked properly and water from the shower flooded the bathroom floor. Second night there the hotel room door wouldn’t lock, had to wait for maintenance to fix it before we could leave for the beach. The staff were remarkable though.

Car got towed away staff failed to give car for my window did not get reimbursed for uber to tow yard

Great hotel my family really enjoy

Liked the pool, that was the highlight. The room was ok, the metal frame on the bed made it very uncomfortable. The hallways were not airconditioned, and ppl left their trash in the halls, which made them stink like crazy. Parking was close by and convenient

Very clean and professional staff

Great location, could use a bit of maintenance work but if you are just wanting a nice place with a great view it is perfect.

Run down hotel. Needs remodeled from top to bottom. Elevators are scary (sudden drops). Limited breakfast unlike advertised.

No mircowave in room. Chair & table on balcony old and rusty. Shower was really really slippery bad. No clock. No good channel on TV.

Hallways were messy. The elevator was out of service the last 2 days of our trip.

Cleanliness could’ve been better

Walking in; the lobby always beautiful and the staff at the front were great. Abhisheka was fantastic; great customer service. Check in was smooth. It was disgusting. First off the room was by the door walking in; also by the elevator! Hallway almost made me throw up ??.. if you’re going to have carpet atleast keep it clean and vacuum. Trash was everywhere and the smell was horrible!!! Oh yeah the worst part it was GNATS everywhere!!! All over the hallway walls.. all in our room to the point the food we brought from eating out we end up throwing up bc it was so many gnats in the room!!! Beds had stains all over it. If you’re going to use white as a bed set atleast keep it white and clean without spots.

Room service,towels, both need to be done without customer continuously calling the front desk and reminding them. Also room service needs to replace sheets and comforter not just make the bed. This is the beach , sand will get on the floor each day. Each day they should be swept.
