Red Roof Inn Plus & Suites Virginia Beach – Seaside

Front desk employee was very sweet and helpful. Her name was Lena. The room itself was okay, the only thing is that the toilet and standup shower room was extremely cramped. I barely had room to maneuver and I’m not a large person. I wanted to enjoy the pool but it was dirty and cloudy. Definitely needed to be serviced, so I decided against it. Overall, kind of satisfied.

Avoid staying in this place, please. When you arrive at the property to pick up the key for an online reservation They charge you 50$ deposit for the room, 9$ parking, they say that they are going to refund the 50.$ but they don’t, and the staff doesn’t change the blankets on the beds! I paid 519$ for one bedroom plus the 59$ which they don’t refund!

Friendly staff and really clean.

Really surprised hotel has 8+ rating, aside from the attentive and friendly staff, the actual facilities are poor. There is absolutely no soundproofing and you can hear everything from other rooms as well as traffic from main room throughout the night. Water pressure was non existent and so hard to shower. Breakfast was very basic and minimal space to sit. Finally appreciate July 4th weekend but massively overpriced!

Location is the best. Breakfast room is super congested, there is no space to move, there is only 1 entrance to the breakfast room. Bathroom shower caddy is also congested.

“Continental breakfast” is stale bagels and be careful on the 4th floor stairs it is not repaired well and a huge trip hazard , we were on 5th floor and only one elevator not working well. Pool was ok, cleaning staff were polite and professional. Overall I will NEVER stay at Red Roof Inn ever again .

We stayed 4 days Tuesday to Saturday Lena was very nice front desk! However my room for 4 adults had one wash rag next day I ask a random housekeeper for more things I guess they don't clean your room or trash until you leave never did we get serviced most of all ONE ELEVATOR is an issue for I think it was 6 to 8 floors used stairs most of vacation by the time Elevator arrived it was full and still have to wait housekeeping holding up with 2carts however it was pretty close to beach !! Some pros and cons breakfast was the same everyday too!

Staff were nice and room was ok but water trickled out from tap in bathroom sink and also shower head. Felt like pics advertising the hotel were deceiving and made it look much better than it actually was. Also didn’t expect to have to pay a parking fee.

Great place to stay only a minute or two walking distance from the beach !

Nothing to complain about but the place has a cheap filling to it It was ok to stay for one night

Location was convenient and room was nice to a point Had same breakfast every day horrible and no yogurt ,water pressure in room horrible, parking provided very tight horrible, no cleaning provided in whole week there no trash emptied or fresh towels, elevator slow had to wait long time.

Clean, neat, great location, helpful front desk

The staff was exception! Parking was tight. Room could have used more than a pullout couch, it was so big and empty. Understand flooring due to beach but I like more carpet but just a personal preference. Wish the bathroom sick had more counter but room was ok. You’re only a block and a half from the beach, real nice. If u ask for food places be specific because the one we went too was real disappointing for the cost but staff was right there to ask for the future recommendations.

Our ac unit had holes in it which allowed air to come through. It sounded like a wolf howling every time the wind blew. The ac unit was also so loud that it was difficult to sleep. “Double beds” could not hold two people comfortably. All in all no one in our group slept well. The pool was supposed to open at 10 but was still being cleaned until 10:30

Nice clean and safe place! The breakfast was decent and ac was awesome. Only downside is very little water pressure.

Close to the beach There was hair and bugs in restroom

The hotel was very close to the beach, nice and comvenient walking to everyplace we wanted to go to. There is a great breakfast buffet and an italian restaurant close by.

My go to in VA beach. Close to the beach and great value for the price. Parking used to be free and now it’s $9 bucks but still worth it for the location and amenities. Front desk is always great. Now parking is being charged.

How close it was to the beach. The room itself was fine, but there was a huge gap in the door. The breakfast was also pretty mid. The Housekeeper didn't clean our room or bring towels during our whole stay. The parking was hard to navigate.
