Clean room nice balcony view Staff was always attentive

Very clean room,The owner and housekeeper Theresa very nice and helpful. Owner seemed to really care if you needed anything and were happy there. We had a room with patio that overlooks a small lake. Ducks and turtles were swimming about. Three ducks would come to our patio and want to share our dinner with us. Very nice. This is small budget minded hotel so don't expect 5star experience but rooms and staff were great. .Pool nice too. Parking lot a bit tight but always found a spot.

The room we stayed in had quite a few stains on the pull out couch, couch cusions, beds and even shower curtains. One of the beds had a large cigarette burn in the sheets and mattress too. The soaps provided were watered down so much they were unusable.

My family and I have been staying at this location for 10 years now. The family that runs the location, they're amazing! Sandy and MK are always there when you need them. I will be coming back to this location for many years to come!

Pleasant stay! We were on the second floor overlooking the fishing pier. It is convenient as to parking and walking to restaurants/shops/beach, etc. would stay again.

Loved staying here, we were on the Lakeview side and walked out to the little fishing dock to the ducks and turtles greeting us. Its perfect location and easy to walk to everything you need from the beach to stores to food! Even close enough to walk to the boat dock to get on a dolphin cruise! And walking distance to the mini golf literally everything! We will definitely stay here next time we come to VA beach.

The only few downsides of this place is that the outside of the place looks really sketchy. It looks like a run down motel that could be super nice if they would put some money into it. The shower faucet was basically hanging off, but still worked. Last but not least, we did see a roach in our room. One roach an hour before we checked out which completely ruined our mood about the place. Don’t think we would stay again in the future

Dirty dated, trash around duck area, lake area, rooms are mediocre but not the best. Somewhat dirty surfaces, side tables weren’t wiped down or desk, Towels were stained too with hair in them. Parking was tight too. When I went to checkout no one was there.

The staff was very friendly

The room was clean overall, with only some minor property damage. The bathroom door was broken, and flushing the toilet took a while because the tank was very slow to refill. Other than that, I didn't have any major issues. If you're traveling on a budget, I'd stay here again. It's not a bad place for the price.

1. Even though Expedia says breakfast is included-THERE WAS NOT 2. I feel like I was a part of bait & switch! Not all rooms are water/balcony! This was absolutely not clear in the write-up. The floors in my room were not mopped or swept. I took off my shoes got into the shower and the amount of sand that came off of my feet just from a few steps in the room was ridiculous. The top bed cover duvet on both beds was dirty. Thankfully the sheets themselves seemed to be clean. Outlet cover was cracked and wires were exposed. Phone was not plugged in. There was no coffee maker in the room although coffee cups were there. So I don't know if somebody stole the coffee maker before me. There was no soap at the sink I had to use body wash from the shower wall pump to wash my hands in the bathroom sink. The only reason I paid the price and stayed at the place that I did was the Waterview and breakfast included and neither was true. I spent over $700 for two nights for something that I did not want. I am very very disappointed and Expedia and in this property.

Places was very dirty as soon as we checked in, had to ask them to come in and clean.

You really do get what you pay for the rooms themselves wasn’t too bad. There was no bugs but the floor had some grainy stuff on it so I had to wear my shoes most of the time. We did have to have them come in and clean up a little more but if you are a lady traveling alone, the room that I stayed in had no security bolt and the deadlock didn’t work. the parking lot got full fast so if you plan on being out late, be prepared to either have no parking or tight parking now I do have to say the staff was very helpful for the issues that we did have. The location was pretty good for the price very close to the beach and if you get a balcony view, it is very beautiful to look over the lake and you are also able to fish off the pier that they have.

We love visiting here every summer for a weeks vacation! Our kids have fun all day in the pool or fishing on the lake and it's only a 5 minute walk from the beach and the boardwalk. We'll be back next summer! 😊

The rooms were clean, and the provided sheets and towels were in good shape. Though the refrigerator had a funky smell. The temperature of the shower was also hard to maintain. Other than that, the place was not too bad for what we paid for. The location of the property was very convenient to the oceanfront.

The location was great and the pool was perfect!
