Hampton Inn Virginia Beach-Oceanfront South

Had to pay $20 a day to park which wasn't noted when booking. Restuarant at bottom of hotel is awful.

The room was clean. The hotel accommodates pets so you will see dogs during your stay. It has quick access to the beach and the boardwalk and a restaurant for affordable eats. This is the south version of the Hampton Inn hotel, so make sure to take note of the address before traveling. I made the mistake of going to the north Hampton inn hotel first.

Nice room with view of the beach. Breakfast was nice.

Very pet friendly, Floor to ceiling entire wall of oceanfront Window. And location. The pillows felt like there was no stuffing

I loved the view of the beach from this hotel. It was such a beautiful experience. The staff was very kind to me, and I didn’t have any problems with my booking.

The staff was very friendly and the room and amenities were all very clean. Also, they have a super nice continental breakfast!

Staff, location, room, cleanliness, comfort No access to a walk-in shower. Rooms with bathtubs are outdated.

The breakfast was ok, but scrambled eggs should be offered daily. Not everyone likes egg white omelettes.

Very nice place to stay with good breakfast included. Lots of gift shops and restaurants within walking distance.

Heads up they charge you for parking on top of rate. Pretty lame .. why not include it in the nights rate? Paid extra for balcony to enjoy beach sounds at night. Put me on floor 2 where the roof of below restaurant was the view.

Breakfast was very good and a great convenience.

Room smell a lot of cigarettes, bathroom door wasn't working had to keep it open all the time. The porch was dirty. Staff were good. Breakfast was good. Pool area wasn't clean.

The room & bathroom were clean upon arrival. Unfortunately during our 3 day stay, cleaning & replenishment of towels & shower gel needed to be mentioned. The staff was very friendly, courteous, & professional, whether front desk, breakfast, or maintenance. Disappointed with the overall condition & upkeep of the building.

Clean rooms and ocean view. My family and I enjoyed our stay. We would return.
