Location was good, vibe was nice breakfast was very delightful Room was small for the price, sink outside bathroom the door wouldn’t close to the bathroom, better choice of alcohol for the free drinks you get at arrival, Valet parking was a disaster maybe because only 2 ppl was doing it but it needs to be a little bit more professional

They had valet service and a nice lounge area downstairs for games and hanging out with friends. Very small for the price, with no refrigerator and no storage space for clothes or belongings. I also called months before our stay, when making the reservation, to confirm that my husband and I would be allowed to stay because we were both under 21. I was assured that it would be fine. However, when we arrived, we were almost unable to check in and were only allowed to stay because my husband is in the military. We also paid over $2,000 for the stay, and even then they were still hesitant to accommodate us, which made the experience really disappointing.

Staff is friendly and helpful and kind.

Very clean and good staff. The bartenders were very, pleasant. The front desk was very helpful and pleasant. Dogs barking in the middle of the night and all morning long. We should not have to listen to them. They should be put on a floor by themselves. It's not fair to the rest of your guests. Please take note.

I liked being in front of the beach. The bar was good and the bar tender was friendly. The shower leaked water under the floor which made water go all over the floor. we had to put a lot of towels down to even attempt to use the restroom. Bed has to be one of the most comfortable beds i have ever slept on. Weird expensive hammock in the room. Should have saved money on hammock and got better beds. Pictures were all torn up.

Cute hotel and pool area. Be aware that the fighter jets will be flying over you constantly throughout the day. It’s not the hotels fault but I’d never stay in VB again because of the constant flyovers.

First of all, I research and reseached for this trip. Based my research on affordability, location and amenities. This place checked all the marks and we were super excited to visit. Let me start with check-in. There is no "formal" check-in counter/lobby area like at other hotels. There is no one to greet you to valet your car. You pull up and kinda wonder what to do. This hotel is modeled after a hostel, I guess. So there is no closet to hang your things, no nightstands to set your water, no dresser or anything at all except a fold down desk to actually put your stuff on. Very small sink with no counter space. Instead you get hooks all over the wall to hang your nap sack on I guess. For the $$$ it was awful. The amenities are non existent. So if that is ok with you, then this is the place for me.. Shower head was broken, toitel was plugged, etc. It was one comical thing after another. Staff is nice though.

Congratulations to all the staff at this hotel; I will return to this hotel for my next vacation.

Had a great stay at Moxy Virginia Beach Oceanfront! The location is perfect, right by the beach and boardwalk. The hotel has a fun, modern atmosphere, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely a great place to stay in Virginia Beach. Would stay here again!
