👍 Staff are very helpful and nice

The room was... Moist. The carp was soggy, the sheets were damp, the lampshades were moldy from the moisture and my graham crackers got soggy overnight. If you have high standards and are sensitive to mold this isn't the place for you. If you don't really gaf and just need a cheap place for a couple nights this could work - just bring your own bedding and don't forget a phone charging block (the plugs in the room didn't work). Also worth mentioning - they are bug free.

The pool was closed our entire stay. Our room had tons of roaches. They were on the walls, coming out from under the fridge and stove, crawling on my sandals. The staff were super friendly.

U enjoyed my stay! My riim was clean, the pool was great and the staff was very helpful! Especially Al at the front desk. The only thing I would change is i couldn't control the AC from my room. The room stayed cool enough though. I would also add a coffee maker to the room. Overall it was a great trip with no complaints. One of the best budget friendly places I've stayed in!!

The room had no air conditioning and it was dirty half eating food found in cabinet couldn’t stay there had to find another room and I’m on oxygen 24/7 so air was very important

The room was clean! Staff was super nice! I would definitely stay again and recommend staying to anyone! Not a long walk to the beach.

I have no idea where to start. Based on the reviews that I read here on Expedia, they were wrong. I do not know why these people and this hotel are still in business!! I think I’m going to let the pictures tell you the story. And if you think you’re gonna get service for your room and towels, think again. You have to request it. Moldy shower, trash around the hotel, rooms falling apart, stained towels, toilets that were not secured, dirty microwave and much, much more. Y’all may be wondering why we just did not leave and go to another hotel, well, there were no other rooms available within a 5 to 6 mile radius. If they were available, they were $1600 for three nights. This hotel was prepaid with absolutely zero refund. They did that on purpose, I see why. There will be a formal complaint filed with the city. ONLY positive things were the location and the staff was actually friendly.

We had no Air conditioning and had to go buy fans for our room when it was 100 + degrees outside. Would not stay here again

Absolutely nothing The location false advertisement saying ocean view or had a small window and you could see a corner of the ocean between the other hotels across the street Room door was open when we arrived Upon entering the room we saw bugs. Refrigerator was not clean. Room was supposed to accommodate 7 people the room had 2 full size beds and a rollout bed in one room. it had 2 full bathrooms that had not been properly cleaned. Urine was on both toilets and in one bathroom it appeared to having smeared feces on the bathroom wall. We did not stay at this location due to its conditions We turned the key in and went to another hotel right before midnight. The property has refused to submit a refund to us minus the 1 day cost for terming early. I would not recommend this hotel unless you are ok with subjecting yourself to horrible conditions.

Location, pool when clean No AC, broken bathroom fan, no microwave, horrible wifi

My family traveled for 3 hours to enter a room with roaches all over the cabinets and heavy blood stains in the skirt of the bed. We stayed for 2 minutes. The guy at the front desk was a sweetheart. The uncleanliness wasn’t fit for our stay. We didn’t want to bring back anything that we didn’t arrive with. Roaches and uncleanliness

The pictures don’t properly represent the property. It’s dirty, old, dark and unkept. I didn’t even stay there and didn’t get a refund.

The staff was superb. They are all friendly and very helpful. However, you have to take all kitchen needs. There are empty cabinets, so you will have to take everything to cook with, including a coffee pot. You are only 1 block from the beach with great access. The pool is very well maintained. All in all, a very nice place to stay for inexpensive.

Let me start by saying it is cheap for a reason. If you’re wanting to go on a little vacation and want some affordability and can live w/o the finer things in life, this is for you. The staff was excellent, any accommodations we needed they provided and they made up for the negative attributes of this place. Our room had a broken pull out bed and they replaced it within 24 hours of me saying something about it. Clean linen was always readily available when you asked, and I asked everyday because I took 3 kids with me on this trip and if you have kids you know how that goes, add in all the sand from the beach and constant rinsing off…you go through A LOT. The beach was about a 2 minute walk so when it comes to location pretty good if you ask me. The walkway is actually one of the beaches tourist sites for a memorial of several historians/good samaritans who came from Virginia, one of them being Edgar Allen Poe! The downsides to this place though would be the way it looks and the energy it puts off. When I first pulled in I was SKETCHY, it doesn’t come off good. After about a few hours in and once we got settled it wasn’t too bad. Yeah you have some shady characters but honestly we ran into several people who were very friendly and welcoming. The burners on the stove did take forever to heat up but it did work. Housekeeping and cleanliness may not be top rated but they only have one housekeeper and she was super sweet. Personally I did my own trash, got my own linen, and even asked for a vacuum several times just to have my room clean before leaving every morning. May be vacation but again…kids. All stated above.
