Beach Carousel Motel

Disgusting! The hotel is disgusting. The owner is nasty and racist

The location. The manager and clean staff were all very nice. The room was clean. The only negative remark I have is about the bed I slept on. It was very lumpy, squeaky and not comfortable at all. Other than that I really enjoyed staying there. The mattress was lumpy , very uncomfortable.

The location near the beach, nature trails, parks, and other places. It was convenient to have a full stove. Bed bugs, roaches, poor cleaning, low pressure shower, low quality "high" speed internet, rude and nosey guest from west virginia blocking stairs on the third floor, no elevators, paying high hotel rates that don't match the booking or accommodations, front desk unavailability...

Love the location

This hotel/apartment was a decent size for my family 2 adults 4 kids. We let kids sleep in room with 2 bed and the adults stayed in front room on the sofa bed. The rooms are standard could use an upgrade but the price was a good deal almost $600 for 6 nights. The beach is only like a 3 min walk away loved that. The floors, specifically the carpeting, although they do vacuum them but they need to be shampoo or replaced my babies feet were black after just mins of walking on it and same with my kids socks.

The owner was really nice and made sure we had everything we needed. Very welcoming! Cleaning lady was also a great help as well when needed extra towels!

.... short walk to everything. The neighbor beside me was taking photos of me and my family out his windows and kept opening his door, talking to us in a harsh tone. When I went to the office, the man there came out and told him to stop, and if I had an issue afterwards, call the cops. Hahaha. The rooms have a stove but had literally nothing to cook with no pans, no silverware, nothing. Online, I asked if the pool was open. I was told NO after checking in and sleeping my long drive off the next am, I saw people in the pool!! Then, I asked in person and was told YES lmfao. That place absolutely was the worst stay I had. The toilet moved every time u sat on it or got up. Loud bang and the toilet paper holder was broken. The towels had stains on them

Location only Rom was not clean, funny smell, leaking ceiling ac, leaking into smoke detector, bathroom tub dirty and had pub looking hairs, very disappointed. Has kitchen with absolute no cutlery, pots or pans or dishes .Went the next day to advise the leak was worse, unfortunately, no one offered to change rooms or any type of incentive. So I asked for a bucket and we have photos. I mean it’s really not what was expected and unfortunately, there should be more clarity on the website

Very friendly guy checked us in. Room desperately needs a good cleaning! Please clean the mold mildew off the inside of the shower curtain! Definitely not worth the money!!

Disappointing

The man who checked us in was lovely!! The room was clean and so was the bathroom. There was an old smell of smoke in the room, in particular the bedroom. Not sure if this is a smell that’s been around for a while or if the people before smoked in the room. The sofa bed has seen far better days. It unfolded and dipped in the middle, I believe it was broken. The mattress was really thin and we had to reattach some of the springs. The shower curtain needed replacing, it was covered in marks, paint etc.

Absolutey horribble smell in the motel, mold in the shower curtains, moldy washing machines, not to mention the carpets that are absolutly filthy and brown from how dirty there are.!!! Even the pool had green goo on it and the bed sheets are itchy and stink! NEVER AGAIN

The room was clean and it felt like you were at home. the staff is very nice and welcoming the pool outside was fun. It was a good walking distance to the boardwalk and carnival. very quiet hotel . Everything was good except the issue with toliet making loud noises throughout the night and air not working leaving the room hot even with the fans provided. Overall experienced 9.5.
