Four Points By Sheraton Virginia Beach Oceanfront

Bathroom was tiny. Shower and toilet were in one very small cubicle and the very narrow sink outside of the cubicle had no space to set anything down. There was a unit behind you to put things on but you had to close a door to use it. The parking garage is awful, all of the spaced are too narrow. The beds are great and the staff is great. The restaurant is mediocre at best. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They only have ice on a few floors and they only have elevator access from the parking garage on a fee floors.

I stayed for 3 days here. Room was overall clean but my last 2 days there was what looked like gnats? in my room on my ceiling, on the light fixtures & would land on my bed I woke up with bites on my legs ughh so itchy I will attach video. I enjoyed the amenities but the pool could use more strict no diving regulations most of the people who were in there at the same time as me were diving non stop. There was also sand in the pool could use more cleaning. My daughter loved the small kid pool. The walk to the beach was about a 1 min I really liked that. The front desk and staff are kind and helpful.

The elevator was out of service for our entire stay. We also heard from previous guests comments that the elevator was out of service 2 weeks ago. If mgmt of this hotel doesn’t have the time to fix it during the high season and sure if they ever wanted to.

Location is good boardwalk wise. Issues with one elevator not working and the other operating very slow.

Oceanfront The cost

Clean, ocean front room with balcony. Lovely beach area and pool. Great amenities including delicious restaurant and bar. Would stay again.

Good The wait for our food was long. Even though the restaurant was not busy.

The front desk was fantastic. I arrived earlier than my 4:00 check-in time. They had an available room and got us in early. We returned with some takeout food later and forgot eating utensils. The front desk came through again with what we needed. I appreciate the little things. One of the elevators was not working so we ended up using the stairs a lot. Things like that can’t be helped. I’m in the service industry and understand. That was the only thing that prevented this from being a perfect stay.

Ocean front view and the shower. Also, the smell when you enter the hotel was WONDERFUL! We were put on the second floor very close to the cafe and it was very loud. I did ask to be move to a higher floor and they took care of that.

Clean, cozy, a home away from home, love the decor. Toilet very low. Had to told on the wall to get up.

The mattress was comfortable. There was a balcony overlooking the ocean. Having a refrigerator was great. They seemed to be having a lot of maintenance issues. The carpet was soaking wet from the AC. So much so that my daughter slipped on the tile after walking on the carpet because her shoes were so wet. Maintenance took care of the AC & put an industrial fan to dry the carpet. However it took 2 days for it to dry & in the interim we had to be cautious about slipping.

The staff was friendly. The elevator was broken, the hallways had a bad smell, the room wasn't what I had booked, and the extra breakfast I paid for did not include my whole family even when at booking said it did.
