Room as so dirty we checked out of the hotel after a couple of hours. Kids feet got dirty from walking barefoot in the room, dead bugs, staples and sand burrs found on the floor. Carpet was sticky in certain spots, stained sheets and hair found in the bed upon pulling back the bedding.

Good stay for a good price. Bathroom shower could be updated/cleaned better but overall we had a good rest here.

We get there and no one is working the desk with a bathroom post it on the counter. Waited 30 minutes before someone ever came to the desk. We go over the details, and that we called about our family and wanting a close room etc. the guy leaves to go see if the rooms are clean and comes back and says we have to switch rooms so we won’t be close but same hallway. Fine. Took about 45 minutes to check in. The room for the most part was fine. The bed was comfortable and our AC was ice cold. However, there was pee on the bathroom seat and smudges ALLLL over the full length mirror. It was disgusting. We didn’t have time to move rooms and deal with another hour dilemma. The hotel looked nice over all, and it would have been 100% a better stay of staff had been more helpful and the rooms cleaner.

I stayed in this hotel the first week it opened and have always loved it. But, wow, the deferred maintenance is awful - awful. Among other very obvious problems, (1) the bathroom door to the bedroom would not open - it was stuck; (2) the door to the room didn't close unless pushed hard; (3) all the built in furniture was scraped up and damaged; and (4) the air condition in the lobby did not work. It needs a major refresh, and I will not be staying there again until that happens!!

Great place to stay if you're at Waco. Clean, friendly staff.

Overall, everything was ok, but the bathroom wasn't very clean. There was hair in the shower, and there were urine stains on the toilet.

I have had good experiences with other home2 hotels so was hopeful for this one. Do not stay on the first floor! I can’t speak for the other floors but it was dirty dirty. The room we had was at the end of the hall and was in rough shape. The bathroom door was nothing short of a hazard if need not downright dangerous for customers, especially anyone elderly. It could be closed with some effort but almost impossible to open. Also the door to the outside is at the end of that and bangs shut loudly every time someone uses it. Breakfast buffet was decent by this hotel type standard but it’s safe to say we will never be back to this home2 again.
