2nd complaint is that at the pool the towel kiosk does not open until 9am. People are at the pool at 8 am and by 8:30 the line gets long.

Vivian at the front desk gave exceptional customer service. She gave us the best experience, she's a great asset to Hilton Grand Vacation in Waikoloa. The room was clean and the amenities are always a fun time.

The gym is disgusting and needs some serious upgrades. For such a huge resort that is so expensive, the gym is terrible. No water, no hand sanitizer, no TVs, treadmills on TVs do not work. It looks like it is from the early 2000s and no one has cleaned it or upgraded anything since

Huge property! There was so much space and areas to do things. I think we still went during peak summer season and it didn’t feel crowded. Even in the pools where there were tons of people, we could always find an area for our family to have plenty of room. The only - and I do mean only - drawback was the food selection. There just weren’t many choices of places. Maybe there was construction and this wasn’t normal, but for dinner, there were just a couple choices. I will say the pizza at the Italian place was great and the food at the pool places were great. But it would have been nice to have some grab and go options. We may have just not seen where that was possible. This place is huge!

The staff was great and the room fantastic.

Original room booked was beyond repair. It had not been maintained it what seemed like at least a year. There was dust everywhere and it smells like mold. We’ve been had a few roaches crawling around. They were unable to accommodate us, and we had to spend the night there they ended up bringing mattress pads to help us with a big hole in the mattress remainder of the night were great as they moved us into a semi remodeled room. It wasn’t the best, but it wasn’t great. It was mediocre. The grounds would be beautiful if they were well kept.

No tower.. no water.. Paid full parking fee but never worked access key(room key).. always call them when i out from parking area.

The fun options are quite limited in the resort. The property is way far from other tourist spots, so not an ideal option.

Lots of showing wear and tear on cupboards, walls. It could be cleaner sand on floors finger prints on everything. We had an issue with faucet not shutting off and maintenance showed up in less then 5 minutes. Maid service check on us everyday asking if we needed anything. Way to far to walk to get to car everyday from ocean tower and vallet parking cost insane.
-
Kamuela restaurant The audacity of the layout No maid service. No basil in the Margarita pizza. Long lines at check in. Choo choo train broke down.
-
The pools the restaurants The tram system took 2 hours to check in because you had to take the tram from parking to check in

I have stayed at the Hilton Waikoloa Village a few times with my family and we absolutely love it. The room at the ocean tower we stayed in needs a bit updating. But overall we love the resort. We would come back again. I recommend it!

Amazing

Unfortunately, my room at the Hilton hotel was infested with roaches, which was not what I had expected. I had booked a vacation to relax and enjoy my room, but unfortunately, this hotel did not live up to its standards.

The property is amazing. Family friendly resort. You have to be okay with walking since the property is so big.
