I went in a few weeks ago. Everything was OK. But this time you know the room is not clean. They gave me a clean room so I have to go back. Ask them to change the room. They gave me a room with new bath they paid for extra for bathroom. They gave me a walk and shower, which is not fair.

Relatively small hotel, only 4 floors. It is newly opened at the end of the coldesac and very quiet area. There are plenty of different stores and restaurants in the area and hotel is located only 30 minutes from downtown Detroit.

They had running water so I could shower .. lol literally the ONLY thing I liked There’s a lot I didn’t like. The bed had hair in it. The carpets were nasty. Lady at the front desk was rude. The bathroom had urine on the floor and on the side of the toilet. No one ever came to do room service, when I asked for more towels they told me I had to bring the used towels down to get more. When I first arrived I asked for a room with 2 beds the lady at the front desk told me I couldn’t switch rooms but later told my sister who was staying in a different room that I could’ve gotten a room with 2 beds because it was 3 of us in my room.. smh the room had one roll of toilet paper that had already been opened and used when I asked for more I was told I had to come down to get it which led to me having to prop my door open while I used the restroom and wait until another family arrived with toilet paper. The shower had a handicap bench that had a piece tore on it that scratched me every time I took a shower.

NOTHING EVERYTHING. THEY LACK COMPETENCE

The location The staff the housekeeper came early and she started knocking in my door i was so tired and she keep talking with high voice in hall way with here phone and laughing we are there to take rest because we have long drive to our state and we didn’t take enough rest because of the housekeeper that she was knocking in our door like an army . The door don’t want to opened the staff was mad because we asked here to open for us . I will never come back and i will tell that to all my friends and people that i know .

Work out room, cleanliness of hot tub and room. Good breakfast. Our room was next to the maintenance room and they were often loud enough to hear loudly talking during early morning and a loud fan blowing in hallway. Very loud door closing woke us up in the morning. There were dumpsters in the parking lot, and right outside our room window making for a bad view. Hot tub was too loud when turned on.

I thought it was a nice stay, I thought the facilities were more than adequate, things seemed well taken care of and clean. And it was a very reasonable price. We definitely stay there again. The only thing was at the breakfast, the staff was very slow to keep the food available, But that should be just being nitpicky.

Wasn't anything not to like

Problem getting inside my hotel room . No kind of compensation received but I still love the location and have nothing else to complain about .

The price was great. The customer service was amazing too. Really close to everywhere we needed to go. There were cigarette burns in the carpet. The room was really dingy and dark. You could smell cigarette smoke in the hall. There was some type of construction going on that we weren't warned about beforehand. I would still come back if needed though. We were just here a couple nights to sleep. Not hang out or anything.
