Courtyard by Marriott Providence Warwick

This place was just meh, at best. We tried calling down to the front desk a few times and no one ever answered. Then when I went down to ask my question, the guy was outside smoking both times. A/C in lobby was not working so miserable down there. Little snack shop was out of almost everything. Nothing outrageous, just annoying to deal with after traveling all day and wanting to rest.

Air conditioning in the lobby where the hotel bistro was was broken so it was quite warm there. The room we were given had a wet rug near the coffee maker and the faucet in the bathroom leaked from the fixture all over the counter. They moved us to a different room and the toilet overflowed. It was fixed by the time we returned but none of it left us with a great feeling. Probably wouldn’t stay there again.

We booked a king bed but the hotel assigned us two double beds. The person at check in was very helpful in fixing the mistake.

Friendly staff and convenient accommodations

My experience was very disappointing. The room had a bad smell, and the receptionist was rude and unhelpful. I paid for breakfast when I booked, but in the morning I was asked to pay again. There was also no power during my stay, which made the experience even worse. I regret choosing this property and will not be returning. I would not recommend it to other travelers.

Don’t be fooled by the pictures! This hotel is not your average Marriott. It is in dire need of a full renovation. The fried food smell in the lobby is the first to greet you. The air conditioning was out the entire 3 days we were there (90 degree temps). The lobby doors were left wide open to let in air; in a neighborhood 2 min from Interstate 95. The clerk at check in complained the whole time and couldn’t answer any of my questions about the room. The walk to the room was depressed by uncleanliness; peeling wallpaper, dirty rugs, furniture. The bathroom door barely closed and getting in the shower tub was quite difficult for us seniors. Nothing to hold onto once in there either. There was a pullout couch but no linens. I asked for new bedsheets at 8am and by 3:30pm I had to ask again. Truly the worst Marriott I have ever stayed in.

Good price, super friendly and helpful staff! I booked through hotels.com and by using a third party, there was some type of glitch. The guy at the front desk worked really hard to try and resolve it and get me the room that I originally booked. He was able to upgrade me and still get me a balcony room. I really appreciate the extra leg work that he put in to accommodate the situation. Most people wouldn’t have. Much appreciated!

The property was dated. The doors to come in were open. It immediately smelled like smoke when I was walking in. I was itchy when I was trying to sleep like something was biting me. There were bugs in the bathroom. I left early and asked for full refund.

Clean safe room, good for a night or two

Upon arrival in our room, the bathroom door did not shut. There was water damage on the ceiling in the shower and overall there was no staff on a weekend night or weekend day to help with our concerns.

This place was great and was clean with a pool and dinner and breakfast with coffee ☕️. Staff was very nice and accommodating with things that were offered at the hotel .Reservation was fast and great service at the front desk.I would definitely be coming back.

The staff were EXCELLENT! Very Friendly and accommodating. Starbucks there was fine. The pool and area was closed. looked like it had been for awhile. The area is nothing to write home about but it was sufficient for our needs. The room could have been a little cleaner and more updated to match the lobby

Management seems to be terrible. All staff are unhappy and complaining about the new management threatening to fire them and get new staff. They are always out of food items and you have to share staff for the front desk and bar area.

Room was so cold and AC triggered several time from centralized wall mount thermostat, failed to warm up the room. Bedsheet came with holes and dirt in the bathroom. No complementary food , pay and eat still the brista keep it close mostof the time.

Nothing The website said breakfast was included and it was not included. They gave me a coupon towards breakfast for $15 even though I paid extra for the breakfast. When I showed the receptionist the website she became really rude and disrespectful saying it was wrong. I would not stay or recomend a mariott to anyone i know. They also said they would have a crib available upon check in as requested ahead of time through reservation which they responded and approved. Upon check in there was no crib provided and i asked the employee at the front desk if we could get one and they never got back to us so the baby had no where to sleep during the stay.

Clan room and property. Staff was very helpful and fast check-in. Will definitely stay again in the future

Not many options for free breakfast avaible and waited a long time for staff to help with breakfast.
