Courtyard by Marriott Washington Capitol Hill/Navy Yard

There was no coffee shop , no candy story, no restaurant. Each day we had to take uber to the Panera for breakfast and eat at any local restaurant available. What good is a hotel with just a room? And it was freezing at that…in the navy yard? I will prefer the Thompson.. has more to offer and its centric…we not stay there anymore. Sorry. I like hotels with charm. There is no charm here..

The food selection was very limited here. And this hotel did not serve complimentary coffee, but they did give out free water and small Gatorades due to the extreme heat during the July 4th 2026 weekend which was nice. Our room was really nice, it was clean and spacious!

Food service options were not good either. They had a nail salon in lobby which was ridiculous. This area could be a nice bar lounge

No place to eat after breakfast by the bar.. big negative for us…

Location Cleanliness

It was clean. All staff were pleasant and catered to our needs. The location is perfect because there are many places to eat at and plenty of things to see and do, all within walking distance from the hotel. There’s nothing I didn’t like about this property.

Awesome

The air conditioner was working but incredibly noisy. We got in late for one night stay and didn’t feel like hassle of asking to move. If I was staying for extended time I would have needed to change rooms

location Parking fee charges and no continental breakfast without charge and costly up north and live in south so not use to the high prices.

Area was smooth and food options nearby.

The hospitality and service. Pool was small.

The staff was super helping and very welcoming. They really made a good first impression and, after a very long work day, it felt very nice to be so welcomed. They got me checked in quickly and efficiently and I was able to get right upstairs to my room. The hotel was very clean and the location was great. The only thing was that it didn't have a valet parking option but it did have a convenient parking garage which did make parking very easy. I would definitely stay here again!

I liked the room it was a breath of fresh air I didn't like how "two king beds" meant one king & a pull out & I didn't like how it was stated no where that breakfast was not complimentary

Nice stay

We was very pleased for a quick trip

We were there for 2 nights. After first night we were out of our room at 9 am and returned after 4 pm. Our room was not made up. As we had plans and we needed to get showered and dressed we could not have the room done. And it was code to 5 pm. I did not lie that and for that reason I will go to another hotel when we are in Washington

Could be cleaner.

Absolutely great experience with the indoor pool and comfy beds. We had a great time and would visit again. Robert at the front desk is great and was so accommodating for an early check in. The bartender jazzy was so personable and made the experience even better. Would recommend to anyone
