Hotel Rendale Washington DC

So glad I decided to stop driving back and forth for my conference and book a night at The Rendale! I popped into the lobby first, loved the vibe, and reserved a room right then. Everything about my stay was great—friendly service, ultra-clean and comfortable room, and fantastic morning coffee at the café. Plus, the location near Dupont Circle is ideal (and having a Mexican restaurant right on-site is a huge plus). Highly recommend, and I’ll definitely stay again!

It was a nice stay, but only having 1 elevator available was quite troublesome

I would pass on this hotel if I came back to DC. We had no tv in our room. We called the front desk and they said they will call us back with answers .. never called. We had no Tv the entire time. Our room also had no lamp, So in the day trying to get dressed we had to open the window shades for natural lighting hoping someone does not see us as our room was on the lever floor with our view being on a patio. Also from the pictures provided from the hotel it looks like there were supposed to be pictures on each bunkbed for decor, well they were not there, but the nails and hooks were. I was traveling with a 2 year old, Who could have been extremely hurt, playing on a bed he could of hit his eye or head or anything. Each bunkbed and there were a total of 4 had the hooks where a picture should be. If you don't want to pay the $70 parking a night you could park on the street Saturday and Sunday, during the week you have to wait until 8:30pm and move it before 9am in the morning. I just don't recommend.

Better advertising of all the amenities offered would be nice

Room was clean. Cafe and restaurant were good. Very helpful staff. Minor issue with tv sound cutting out intermittantly, was annoying but not.that big of a deal. One elevator wasnt working but waits for the one working werent too bad. Lots of construction in the area but quiet at night.

Pool was dirty, door to the room was very difficult to open, toilet didn’t flush and the person who was in the room next to mine was extremely loud.

The quad bunk room was absolutely perfect for what we needed! Highly recommend this hotel

Only one elevator was operating, the bathtub was dirty, the attendant was never at the counter when I was entering or leaving the garage in which I was charged an extra $60 for parking and I had to send some to the counter whenever I had to get in and out of.

Room was not cleaned properly. Left over food containers and towels on the floor.

The hotel was in a good location and clean. However, the pool wasn’t clean and there were so many mosquitoes by the pool I guess from all the trees (not really the hotels fault). Also, the pillows they have in the rooms are so thin they’re like paper … they need to upgrade their pillows.

Elevator was terrifying (and one was out of service). Room didn't have sufficient towels or pillow, and extras weren't available. Fire alarm went off (false alarm) but we could. Barely hear it from our room.... definitely wouldn't wake you if there was a real emergency.

There are very convenient and comfortable hotel. Especially, if you meet new friends in here, I recommend this hotel.

Get a happier staff..

It was the perfect spot for staying during America’s 250th anniversary! I was grateful and amazed at the view I had from my room down to the Washington monument! Capital Bikeshare was nearby so it made getting back and forth from taking in the sites on the National Mall, back to the hotel. They had a great looking pool that I, unfortunately didn’t get to indulge in but there was so much going on at the Mall I didn’t spend alot of my time in my room. The room was clean and neat and had wall to wall windows overlooking Washington all the way to the Washington Monument. Both nights I was there they also had a restaurant/dance hall where people could mingle in the evenings. For someone with mobility issues I was glad to have the grab bars in the shower which made me feel much safer. From what I understand the neighborhood is the Embassy Row neighborhood and it felt safe walking around at any time. I’d definitely recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again if I’m back in DC. Maybe next time I’ll even hop in the pool!!
