Hotel Rendale Washington DC

Centrally located, food and bars within a 10-15 min walk, there’s a club and coffee shop in the lobby. My friends and I stayed in the twin bunk bed rooms and they were very spacious. I’m 6’5 and I fit comfortably. Would definitely stay again!

I enjoyed all parts of the stay, it was especially good for 4 solo travelers meeting up!

Located next to a bus station, handy to reach the center of other places. The room was also comfortable. We could let our suitcase in the lobby for a few hours after checking-out. The bathroom curtains had stains and should have been replaced.

Location was ok. Hotel was ok and comfortable. The lighting in the room was inadequate- no ceiling light, and no table or standing light. There was no TV in the room- although it was advertised with TV.

We arrived to be told by man on reception on that we had no booking and that it had been cancelled. This was despite having paid more than a week ago. Then the manager were told us that Booking.com had cancelled by the booking!!! In error. I then was told I could have one night and would have to find some where else to stay for the rest of our trip. Eventually we managed to get a room for our whole stay- but we had to pay again. Eventually got a refund. Not good and quite stressful!

In general, it is a good hotel, however, we selected it because of the pool, which was closed! I would have selected a different hotel if I had known that!

I stayed here while attending a conference across the street. This was an excellent choice. The staff were very friendly and helpful, my room was ready early, there is a nice coffee shop and Mexican restaurant, there are unique spaces in the lobby to work or just sit. The room I stayed in was clean, it had a hairdryer, iron, great shower, and everything was comfortable. Just bring your own preferred shower products (shampoo, etc.) They only have the handwash and combo shower gel/shampoo on the wall. Great value for the area, I would stay here again. Access to enter the hotel is more on a hill, so you do have to pull your bag up and down it just a bit. I took the train, so I didn't park, but compared to my colleagues who stayed across the street at a chain hotel, and from what I saw at that hotel for the conference, I made the perfect choice! The price when booked early with easy cancellation clause, was over half off the chain hotel.

Good location, access to the metro, friendly staff The toilet wasn’t working, was told that it would be fixed but was not fixed for the duration of my stay despite multiple follow-ups on my part. It was annoying to have to go to the lobby every single time I need to use the restroom. Other than that, good stay.

Entrance of the building is on the side street not the main street of the address. Pricing does not include the parking fee of $59 a night plus the destination fee of $25 a night. Your stay can go from $500 for two nights into $600 to $700. Also the photos do not match what the rooms look like at all. Finally, only one elevator was working.

I liked the beds, and the location. I did not like the service, and the fact that there is no cleaning person. You arrive to the hotel after a day in the city to the same room you left. Also, the gym, pool, and one elevator did not work.

Room was nice, but no real overhead light. No water bottles or cups on arrival, had to buy a bottle. First night there were people running around knocking on doors and the room next to mine played loud music until ~12.30am when a staff member finally stopped knocking and went in to turn it off. Walls are much too thin. Also, TV randomly turned on several times (including quite early in the morning) - presumably when the neighbours woke up and turned theirs on.

Location is good It was not clean. I am Allergic to mites and the room was full of them ! I left the room in ten minutes with an allergic reaction and they refused to refund that night!!! I called Booking.com several times but it seems that the hotel didn’t approve the refund so they never refunded the money for that day ( I was not more than ten minutes in the room). Awful service and experience

Nice, comfortable quiet premises with flexible management, despite us being one day late due cancelled flights. All orderly and clean A bit of a busy corner as for traffic. Taxiaccess a cumbersome. Some overload at breakfasttime
