Great location for a nearby conference. Nice neighborhood.

The location is close to the bus stops and metro station. Quiet area and it feels safe in this neighborhood. The staff were excellent. Easy check in/check out. We were able to check in early with no extra charge. Their breakfast was good and they have the wine social in the afternoon. Our room was comfortable, with a king bed, decent sized bathroom, has a fridge and electric kettle with comp coffee/tea. They also have a water station, just bring a refillable water bottle. They do have a 24/7 coffee/tea at the main lobby. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay here again.

Best bed I’ve slept in perhaps in years. Really nice bed lol. Nice room. It was really clean. Smelt nice as well. Only problem is that the parking garage they have is valet parking. But it’s a clearance of 6’2” and my truck cannot fit. Had to leave at 7am before the parking ban took effect. Other than that, 10/10.. MOST COMFORTABLE BED I SLEPT ON!

Breakfast was good and breakfast room was nice and clean, staff were friendly and helpful, air conditioning worked great, but Cleaning services are available upon request. We stayed for 3 days but even they didn’t take the trash out

The property was quaint and walkable to a lot of things. The bathroom was nice. The staff was very helpful. I have no complaints. I would definitely come back again.

Staff was friendly and helpful from checkin, during the stay and at checkout. The rooms where tastefully updated. Location was convenient.

Great location, clean, great happy hour!

Quirky hotel that could use some more colors. Well appointed rooms with comfortable bed. Staff was fabulous and very helpful. Would stay again when in town.
-
Excellent well designed room with marble bathrooms, and clean up kept rooms. The afternoon wine and cheese events and breakfast was wonderful
-
Staff was friendly and helpful! Our room was clean and the breakfast every morning was good! Expect a half mile walk to the metro.

The bathroom layout was horrid and the shower had water leaking out of it after you finished, plus the sink was in sich a weird spot that made the water spill over regardless of the pressure. There is no light or space in general in the room or a microwave, there was one overhead light near the entrance of the door and a lamp working overtime for the rest of the room. The breakfast was mid, they had pastries that were stale, a regular pancake stand, and barely any protein options. Most importantly, they scratched my car and it left green stripes on my car. Overall a bad pick but the staff and housekeeping sort of made up for it.

Overall a very nice experience. Staff were very friendly and there was a good variety of choices for breakfast. Room was clean and comfy. Location is a bit out of the way but walkable to DuPont Circle and Adam’s Morgan areas. Quiet location. Minimal hotel amenities though.

The room was comfortable and well-maintained, although the hallways were slightly stuffy due to the hotel’s age. The breakfast was in line with the hotel’s theme, offering fresh and chic options with ample seating. All of the staff members were exceptional, and I greatly appreciated their kindness. Honorable Mention: The Normandy Hotel is located in a pedestrian-friendly neighborhood with pleasant views.

Good and clean

Enjoyed our stay at the Normandy, clean, comfortable, the staff was helpful, and we enjoyed the cocktail hour and breakfast. They offer parking on site but it will only accommodate vehicles under 6’2” so be aware of that. My Tahoe could not get in the garage, we lucked out and found street parking but street parking is not easy to find in this residential neighborhood.

Very clean with a very pleasant staff. I highly recommend this Hotel
