Hyatt Place Washington DC/Georgetown/West End

Breakfast is good. The washer is not working properly. The dryer efficiency is extremely low. It took almost two hours to dry my clothes, while it can be done in 45min.

Great location near Foggy Bottom and Georgetown. Spacious rooms, attentive staff, nice choice of hot and continental breakfast. Had a street facing street but no privacy curtains - only fully open or blackout roll-down blinds. Plastic plates and cutlery at breakfast.

Charged my credit card multiple random charges that they couldn’t explain. They just kept telling me it will go back and it actually didn’t.

Very clean and helpful staff

I paid for my stay in full through Booking.com before arrival. However, my credit card was charged again at the hotel, resulting in what appears to be a duplicate payment. I have been requesting a refund for over a month and have sent numerous follow-up emails, but I have not received any response, update, or refund from the hotel. As a result, I have had to seek assistance from Booking.com, which is currently helping me recover the money that was charged twice. Very disappointing customer service and communication. I would advise guests to carefully check their payment records and credit card statements.

Very clean, comfortable, and the location is perfect.

Room was very clean. Front desk were incredibly friendly and helpful. Every thing was very nice. Only issue was the mattress, it felt very worn and uncomfortable.

So the breakfast was horrible,it was cold and no flavor at all that was on Saturday..Saturday when I was trying to get my car the lady at the desk was very rude and nasty around like 12:30pm..and I want to know why there are no microwaves in none of the rooms at all..I ask to be on the bottom floor or close to it and I was placed on the 3rd floor...I am very scared of elevators...so over all it was ok,oh and the refrigerator in our room didn't keep our things cold at all...the valet guy that worked Friday night and Saturday night it was nice and very respectful

The location of the property is walking distance to many nice places. I don’t like that valet is the only parking option.

The stay went well, with the location being very close to the center and nearby attractions. I used parking through StopHero right next door, which was also convenient. The limited breakfast options might not be ideal for a two-plus-day stay
