The hotel was great, the staff and the location was good near the metro and bus stop

Breakfast was made fresh everyday with a nice selection. Most of staff was super helpful however female manager was rude because when I told her our fridge wasnt working she didnt seem to care. We were there for 3 days and they didnt attempt to fix it. Rooms clean however water pressure sucked. Convenient to metro and valet was excellent.

Check-in was seamless, staff was friendly, room was clean, and breakfast was delicious. I needed documents printed and staff was happy to assist. About a 5 minute walk to the redline Metro station. McDonald’s is just a couple doors down from hotels front entrance for a quick bite or ice cream. Great place to stay!

Close to both DCA airport and downtown!

But parking is painful, and room amenities is not good as it as it should be

Excellent place to stay

The rooms were clean, the sofa bed wasn't it had food in the crevices. But overall the location is convenient, staff was friendly and helpful with print outs for state fair, FIFA etc. The best part of the stay was the Breakfast. It was a great spread we all had something we liked. Ot was beyond a continental.

My family and I booked this room last minute because where we originally booked we could not stay due to the conditions. This hotel was great. Plenty of room inside the room. The view was great. The kids loved the pool which also had a good view. The breakfast was the best free breakfast I have ever had at a hotel. Breakfast burritos, cereal, fruits, oatmeal, fried eggs, sausage, and more all freshly made.

Staff: valet parking Guy en la noche, 1/5 parking. o.k.
-
It was a busy weekend when we visited, but staff tried hard to help customers.

Conveniently located near the metro.

Breakfast was great. Room was clean. Staff very pleasant and professional. Wish my room had a microwave.

The sliding glass door to the bathroom would not stay closed, which made it awkward as my daughter was staying with me. The towel rack in the shower is extremely rusted on the bottom side. Finding a place to sit for the morning breakfast was a bit of a challenge as it was obvious the hotel was packed. I will say the breakfast was much better than some. I’ve been to in the past. What I really didn’t like was having to make the sofa sleeper up myself as there were no sheets or pillows or blanket in the room and my reservation was for three people. I spent many years in the hotel industry, but I never asked any guest to make up their own bed. I would have had someone from housekeeping take care of it or I would have done it myself, but I would never have asked a paying guest to make up their own bed. I was very surprised that this is a Hyatt policy. The location was nice, fairly close to the Metro and local restaurants. There is a very good small Mexican restaurant. I’d say to the west of the hotel about 2 1/2 blocks, I don’t know the name but served me the best fajitas I’ve ever eaten.New York Ave gets pretty busy/noisy and we were only on the 2nd floor. I’m not convinced that the front desk staff cared whether we were there or not just kind of a blasé attitude except for one girl whose name I do not know. I would suggest booking a higher floor. I was happy that the staff at the door did have umbrellas for us to use as it was a rainy day The stay was good, just not great.

good overall

Breakfast was good. I was allowed early checkin, which really helped my trip.

Nice breakfast.. lovely clean rooms
-
Not comfortable, phone didn't work, paid a fortune for parking

The bad: You have to pay to valet park which is a chaotic mess! The gentleman working the valet stand was not very helpful and after several attempts to find out about parking he said to leave the keys at the front desk. There's nowhere to park so you're just leaving your vehicle in the street with a hope and a prayer that itt gets parked. The deceptive thermostat in the room is clearly not managed by the guest. When we arrived it was 83 in the room. We set it for 73 (it was 100 outside during the day) but it never got below 77. For what we payed for one night it was fine but I wouldn't pay to stay more than one day at their rates.

Had a great stay. The employees were amazing to help with everything i needed. The hotel was very clean and the free breakfast was such a great bonus and lots of variety

This hotel is not the absolute greatest. BUT it IS affordable and you get a lot for the price. The breakfast was not the best but not the worst and it was super crowded (but they warned us and we went during peak hours anyway). The room was clean and nice. The staff was GREAT. On the weekend we stayed, the hotel was full to the brim. If I worked there, I'd be mean. I don't know how they stay so lovely and patient and helpful. I would stay here again for sure.
