I went to DC for the Fourth of July. Got to the hotel around 11 AM and knew it was early but thought I’d check to see if her room is ready. The front desk lady said that there were no rooms available currently, but it would more than likely be ready before 4 PM. There was no air-conditioning in the hotel lobby at all, and the café was closed because of the heat. I went out for a few hours to get something to eat and came back at 2 o’clock and there still was not a room. It started getting busy and the clerk at the desk was giving out rooms and kept passing us over. My husband went up to her several times to ask if there was a room and she had said that they had overbooked the rooms and they didn’t have rooms ready yet. At about 3:30 PM when my husband asked her one more time she said that there was a room by the elevator and thought we wouldn’t want that room. At this point we did as it was so hot. The room wasnt by the elevator, it was by the ice machine, but we didn’t care. In the room, the air conditioner was barely on and the temperature was reading 72°. I tried to adjust the thermostat and it went down to 67 but the temperature in the room stayed 72 for our entire stay. I would not recommend anyone staying there. In fact, this is not the first bad experience I’ve had with Marriott. I think I’ve had enough and I will forfeit my Bonvoy membership because it’s not worth it!

Stayed here overnight because of an early next day event at the Nationals Park. Front desk attendants were welcoming, friendly and accommodating to our requests. The room temperature was cool and sufficiently roomy for 3 people. The beds were soft and very comfortable. We loved how it was just outside the metro station with Dominos pizza beside for a quick late-night dinner. Definitely a very good stay!

Liked the helpfulness of the front desks, especially Nicole, who has a wonderful attitude.

Close to train station and easily accessible to stores/food.

Our stay at the courtyard Marriott over July 4 was great. The location, next to the metro station, was very convenient to all DC activities. The staff was very nice and friendly. There were some air-conditioning issues in the main spaces, but the rooms were perfectly cool. As a family, we will definitely stay there again.

The room was good and Mo and Mo were very helpful. I would stay again.

There were stains on the mattress, tears and stains on the fabric chair in the corner. Something on the carpet. Water pressure is very low and the AC in the restaurant went out. Garbage outside the window on the small landing ( not accessible but viewable from the room) I don’t feel this is a good value for the money. The two redeeming thing was the staff was very helpful and friendly. And the breakfast was very good. The hotel needs a lot of work. The high end of $600 for the premium nights is excessive for the quality room.

The room was very nice. I did not like that check in was at 4pm. Yes, you can lock your luggage up, However, if you call to check if your room is ready, there isn't enough staff to answer the phone. So you have to go eat and then try back around 2 or 3pm. Otherwise, the restaurant was nice. The staff was very pleasant as well!

They tried to charge me 96 dollars for 4 waters when they were 6 dollars each. They said ot was a computer error. Watch and check your bills.

lack of cleanliness and upkeep. The housekeeping staff did a great job, but there were stains in the carpet in the room and hallways and on the upholstered chair in the room. an outlet fixture was broken with pieces missing. Its almost as if the rooms need a refresh and update. The lack of ice machine on the floor and handwritten numbers on signage, missing letters on the outside of the building. All these things we did not expect at a Marriott property.

I stayed in a room with a king sized bed for two nights. The television was not working and the air conditioning was not working either. We were switched to a new room the next morning and the accommodation was breakfast that I could not participate in because of my schedule. I felt like more could have been done even if it was parking accommodations or a reasonable trade off for the inconvenience of sleeping in a hot room with no television.
