Pricey resturants, grab and go breakfast. Should have a sit down reasonable resturant for everyone to enjoy

I made a mistake and booked this hotel thinking my meeting was here, but as it turned out, it was a good mistake and things worked out even better. Wonderful location with a helpful staff.

I used the coffee/pastry bar for breakfast so cannot comment on full breakfast. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was just where I wanted to be. I did have to change my room after the first night because I was about two feet from the train tracks, on the same level - 2nd floor. Quite noisy at night. I changed to a room on the other side of the hotel and had no problems with noise.

THERE IS NO FULL LENGTH MIRROR IN THE NEWLY RENOVATED ROOM, SO IT'S DIFFICULT TO SEE YOURSELF AFTER GETTING DRESSED, IN THE BATHROOM MIRROR. NO CLOCK, BUT ANYWAY.

If i knew about that part I wouldn’t stayed there.

We loved the area. It was a 15 minute walk to Union Station and then maybe another 10 minute walk to the Capitol grounds. We caught the red bus at Union Station. It was also walkable to the start/finish line of the Rock n Roll 5k without being too expensive.

All good!! Room clean. Staff friendly.
-
The room is comfortable and clean. That said, we requested that housekeeping make the bed and it was never done. Additionally, the hot water was not hot on one of the days we were there.
-
No microwave, sheets scratchy, only one glass, did not refresh coffee or condiments for the coffee. We were there 3 mornings. Terrible parking
