However, there was a cockroach crawling across the top of the elevators as we waited to go up to check into our room. And we had tiny ants in the bathroom, both leading us to believe their pest control was inadequate. The hotel decor is old and dated. It sorely needs a remodel.

The staff was extremely helpful and very, very nice, the food in the restaurant is tasty also. There is no parking garage so it's only valet parking,

My kids got sick because of heat .

The staff was attentive and helpful. Great location for taking in the sights of DC. We look forward to coming back again soon.

We were very, very pleased . I wish we had more time . We are definitely returning !

The air conditioning in the lobby, bar and breakfast area was non existent. Everything else was excellent.

Staff was helpful and kind. Breakfast very good. Rooftop bar very nice. Great location. CVS accross the street. Bar with food in lobby too

They definitely have air-conditioning problems. I know it was hot outside but other places she walked in were cool. We could never get below 75°. You had to keep it on Hugh and the noise that it made, there was something wrong. Carpet was very stained and smelly in the halls.

Our air conditioning was not working despite numerous complaints. It never got below 74 degrees. Our bathroom (#1018) had ants

Location

Hotel's location is great, room size as well. It had glass door between room and bathroom - so privacy was a bit debatable. Next to the hotel there is a gentleman's bar, and in one late night - as we were coming back from our errands - there were two lady workers outside of it in their "uniforms". My daughter asked why they were dressed like that. No trauma hopefully - but just a note for families.
-
The air-conditioning in the room did not work and could not get the room temperature below 80°. Maintenance came and said it was working correctly and there is nothing that could be done. Shower only had very hot water so no opportunity to cool down with a cool shower. Location is very close to the White House.

Kiana at check in/out desk Daytime- Great attitude and Very welcoming… Bong & Alonzo Valet attendances- When you Arrive to this hotel rather it be Day or Night one of these gentlemen will be outside to help with Bags & parking your vehicle…Both have excellent customer service & Very informational on the area around the hotel restaurants, things to do Khon at Check in/out Desk Nighttime- Last, but not least, This Gentleman change my whole experience at the Hyatt place Hotel. This hotel is very very Quiet, I had my TV on mid-volume & played music off my phone, & I received Noise complaints! Khon Quickly came up to my floor assist the situation didn’t see anything wrong, But to alleviate from anymore issues Khon upgraded my room & move me to a room with no one next to me.Great! When Staying at hotel customers are there for a various of reasons, Everyone should be accommodated fairly, that’s what Khon did! One thing I didn’t like about this hotel Is the Valet Parking is to high in price for Customers Staying at the hotel it’s about $70 dollars per day…when the hotel has parking lots on the same street & around the corner with a lot cheaper cost rate…

One thing prospective guests should know is that the hotel is located next to a gentlemen's club, which some travelers may find off-putting. Personally, it hasn't bothered me, but it's worth noting. The staff experience has been mixed. Most of the team members have been welcoming and helpful, especially when I needed to use the business center and printer. They made the process easy and were happy to assist. However, there is one front desk employee who I have not found particularly friendly or helpful during my stays. The complimentary breakfast is appreciated, though I do wish there were more options available. Still, it's a nice perk and convenient for busy mornings. Some of my coworkers choose to stay elsewhere, but for me the location, value, and overall convenience make this a good choice when visiting Washington, DC.
