The staff was amazing and helpful and beyond friendly For the money you pay it was not worth it; - you have to ask for a mini bar downstairs at the reception (unplugged and empty) - the hairdryer was not working - the outlets were all poorly and didn’t work half the time - the room was super tiny - while the valley parking was fast and super easy, you don’t really have room for it - it’s basically left turn and then right there. - if you like sleeping on a super super super soft bed - otherwise very painful - drive a normal suv and got charged for a oversized vehicle - and

I’d say overall that staff are 5 star but the property is extremely run down. Theres no reason for simple things like the tea bag holder to look like it’s 10 years old. Unfortunately it’s not worth the price tag, there are better places to stay in DC.

Love the staff service..special mention to One in a Million, Million at the the reception. Excellent service, location stay. Room service was very slow

Great location, well maintained and comfortable bed.

I stayed in a suite, which was nice, but the lighting was terrible. There was not enough light in the living room and dressing area, and when I'd open the blinds, the windows from the adjacent building saw right into mine, so I had to keep the blind closed. The bathroom light was dim and although the mirror had lighting, it wasn't enough to make a difference. The telephone in the bedroom area worked sometimes on speaker and sometimes not. You may also want to consider bringing your own iron. The refrigerator (if that is what you want to call it) was ridiculous. I think it was actually a wine or drink fridge, so forget trying to store any leftovers. THE GREAT STUFF: Million (yes, that's his name), was phenomenal. I know I had to have bugged him 50+ times but his demeanor never changed. There is also a beautiful, petite young woman (I hate that I do not recall her name), who always smiled and went out of her way to be helpful. My first day arriving, I was frustrated at not finding a place to wait for the valet and she literally came out of the hotel to help me... TWICE! Room Service was AMAZING and the food was exceptional.

Both days we had to wait over half hour to be seated for breakfast. I almost lost my tour. Besides waiting for a long time. Food took another 20 minutes to arrive at our table. And another 10 minutes to get the check. Clearly they are under staff. The second morning, the line for breakfast was longer. We needed to drive fours hours to go back home. So I went to the front desk and asked to be credited back for one day for our breakfast since we couldn't wait for over one hour and a half to have breakfast. They told me NO, the it was part of a package and I said, I selected the breakfast option. I paid more to have the breakfast, is not like the hotel includes the breakfast in your rate. The breakfast is a sit down breakfast, it is not a buffet. The manager said that he can only do a room service and that it was going to be faster. He said take it or leave it. He said if "you don't use it you loose it", What type of customer service is that. I saw a lot of people complaining. Some people left saying that they will dispute the charges. The Hotel is in a perfect location, everything was clean. I have no other complain besides the breakfast taking a long time. Tourist usually have tours schedules and breakfast should not take this long. I am very disappointed at this hotel brand.

A wonderful place to stay in dc! Very clean and nice atmosphere.

While the front patio and entrance look a bit worn out and not maintained, don’t let that discourage you. Once off the elevators, the hallways and rooms are beautifully decorated. The Delux king room and bath were luxurious and very clean.

A classy experience perfectly situated in the heart of D.C. within short walking distance to the White House and many other highlights.

It was a wonderful experience from check in to check out. Everyone was incredibly helpful and friendly and the hotel itself was very nice. It was easy to get to most of the sites on foot and for the sites that were a little further away, we enjoyed the scooters that were available for rent on most street corners.
