ROOST White House

The staff were very accommodating and helpful.

Outstanding stay and close to everything. Room is fantastic and staff was helpful. However, please know that there is NOT a swimming pool as the on-line photo leads you to believe. It is a reflecting pool that you can get wet in but that is about all. Would definitely recommend this location to anyone.

We had a nice size one bedroom apartment. Very clean and a great location near the White House.

the comforts of home and the cleanliness is what I apreciated the most. As a solo traveller I felt safe. My only complaint is the lack of nearby late night eating or picking up essentials such as bottled water and snacks.

Excellent location top of the line property. Ample, impeccable, well stocked with top level appliances and kitchen utensils. 5 star stay. Walking distance to The Old Ebbit, the best restaurant in DC. We loved it.

This is not a hotel. It's someone's apartment. This could have been clearer. Also my credit card was charged before I arrived which is not aligned with 'pay at property' so now my personal credit card was charged when it should have been my work credit card. Don't stay here if you are travelling for business.

Our stay at the Roost was amazing. The staff was extremely helpful and so nice. Anytime we needed anything it was taken care of. It was so wonderful having a washer and dryer in our room. We were close to so many great restaurants and two Metro stations. I told my husband I was ruined because now I don't want to stay anywhere unless it's like the Roost. Washington DC has the friendliest and most helpful people of anywhere we have ever been.

We were also told we could use the roof terrace, however one evening we went up and there was a birthday party on.. the folk said they had rented the roof space and asked us to leave .. this was embarrassing, there was no indication this could be a possibility

For an affordable stay in a convenient part of DC to be in for sightseeing, this was perfect. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and we enjoyed taking the bicycles provided here out to visit the museums. Would stay here again!

No operational safe in room for stay. The “reflection” pool is not a swimming pool, its only for looks. Given different times for common area use (Grill), depending on who is working. Rats problem so take your trash out on 3rd floor….

Beautiful hotel! And the rooftop pool was amazing! So close to the white house you can see grounds from the rooftop!

Will definitely stay here again, everything was top tier. Already planning on coming back after the new year, close to everything you'd want to see and visit. The staff is amazing also!!!

Great stay. Easy check-in and lovely staff. The room was great and had extensive amenities. Only slight disappointment was that the pool was a reflection pool (3 inch depth), which felt deceiving from the website.

Very clean hotel! The amenities were great, clean gym, pool was nice. Very close to everything. Will be staying here again if I’m ever back in DC.
