Hotel Washington

The boutique style hotel was clean and comfortable. The only challenge is the room layout that has an unusual bathroom layout the shower is glass view and once out od shower your in the room it is not within a bathroom with door the toilet is in a room with door. If you are traveling with children/teams it is uncomfortable. However there are rooms with a bath ROOM style farm close door for privacy and it all worked out wonderfully.

Everything was very well done/appointed and the staff were all, kind, courteous and friendly.

Superb

Staff was great, hotel looks nice at the entrance. Room was tiny, elevator tiny (anymore than 3 people and its basically shoulder to shoulder) The restroom has no ventilation so good luck if someone has stomach issues. The whole room is going to suffer. I would have paid more for a more comfortable stay somewhere else.

The hotel is in a good location to visit the most important museums in Washington, also, the staff is nice and kind

Good

Loved how close it was to everything. The bed was too small and low to the floor. The shower door opening out rather than in was hazardous. Lots of water dripped from the door to the floor upon getting out of the shower.

My biggest criticism was room service. The margaritas are $44 but arrive as a premade bottled malt beverage.

Highly recommended hotel a short stay but excellent location to major attractions. Hotel staff was very welcoming after a long journey great customer service and excellent communication on all our questions.

Food selection was just ok and the food options once ordered and arrived were just not that great for how expensive everything was.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Room was clean and spacious for an in city hotel. The bed was very comfortable. The Vue rooftop bar/restaurant was excellent! All around a great place to stay. Will be back!

We went downstairs to get breakfast which we already knew that the waffles and the eggs would total about 40 dollars. However when we got to the table they gave both of us orange juice which neither of us asked for or wanted and coffee which I didn’t ask for and I didn’t want. We didn’t ask for these things they just gave them to us. Then when the bill came we found out that added another like 35 dollars!!!! It’s basically a scam to give you stuff you never asked for and then charge you for it. For sure will not fall for this scam ever again!

Exceptional

Staff were so welcoming when we arrived. Our queen room was clean and just the right size for two people. Bathroom and shower were large and included a make up mirror. The room itself had water bottles everyday along with an iron and ironing board and steamer. Housekeeping staff were friendly when we encountered them in the hallway. We had great cocktails at the bar using $15 coupons we received upon check in. My only critique would be waiting for the elevator a few times and the big heavy door when entering the hotel itself. Our view was amazing and location was the best. We always felt safe and were near transportation options including train. Thank you!!
