JW Marriott Washington DC

The hotel and staff were nice. They did a "bait and switch" on the room I booked. I booked a King bed and they gave me a room with 2 double beds. Hotel stated that because I booked with a 3rd party, they couldn't guarantee the room type. Just watch out for that. Not to mention but I booked the room almost a year in advance and they still couldn't give me what I wanted. Hmmm.

The hotel rooms need an upgrade; just that, everything else was great: the staff, parking, and the cleaning too.

Great place

The room was clean, and comfortable. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Washington, DC,. The only downside was the parking, it was very expensive, so if you can avoid bringing a car, it’s definitely worth considering.

The room was close to the elevator, as requested. Had a very limited view of the courtyard. I did not like the tub shower arrangement. Tub ws high and someone could slip and fall. difficult for elderly to climb over. Limited counter space in the bathroom. One day I room didn't get cleaned, and then the house maid showed up at 8:30 to clean. She was sorry it was so late, so were we.The restaurant food was good, but odd. Not the usual recognizable items. Some items were overpriced--vanilla ice cream for $8.00. Room service was strange, they bring a large bag of food to your room and disappear. You set everything up yourself. No dishes, just metal containers. Plastic silverware instead of real knife and forks. Valet parking is on the street, so long wait to get your car. All in all, I would not stay there again.

Great location(Near White House and National Mall).

The location was great. The room was okay. There was next to nowhere to hang things in the bathroom. Like literally one hook for towels. There was no breakfast (I know they have a restaurant) which I was surprised for the price of the room.

The location is perfect! The hotel is nice and priced well. Would love for the pillows to have been thicker. They were flat and had no neck support. The room was small and the bathroom is not big enough for two people to use at the same time. I prefer a larger spa-like bathroom. The water pressure was incredible. Insomuch as to literally beat you to death! (In a good way.) Every staff member we encountered was helpful and overly-friendly. Would stay here again!

This was the perfect location, close to everything you want to see and things to do and eat! The hotel was beautiful and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Traveled with young family, so safety and convenience are my top priorities when booking.

Please clean the carpeting in the rooms or replace. I had on white socks and they got filthy. Thanks

The room was excellent though a hike from the elevators. My room service was prompt but plastic utensils is a negative especially for eating steak. I’d suggest that management review the room service menu

The location was excellent. The room and view were pretty nice. The restaurant was overpriced and dinner selection was disappointing. The breakfast buffet was not offered by the hostess nor waitress. We had to ask the second day to receive it as an option. The dinners we had were okay, but really not that great. Had better meals outside the hotel. The room came with a view of the Washington monument wgmhich was actually just a point showing behind another building which makes the promo for this higher priced room a bit exaggerated
