Hamilton Hotel Washington DC

Great location for visiting the National Mall/White House area. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was so refreshing to come back from a long day of sightseeing and have a beautifully cleaned room.

The staff were lovely but the hotel is a bit beat up. It is like going to a hotel at the beach. You are happy to be there but it’s rough. I don’t think I would book it again. The restaurant is actually very good!

Room was clean which is ultimately most important to me. It was also a super convenient location. I had issues with needing to ask the front desk for things numerous times, housekeeping not replenishing things and skipping us alltogether along with multiple broken items in the room ( refrigerator, hair dryer and shower shelf).

Great location. Friendly staff. The shower was slightly low on pressure, but water was hot so not a major issue.

Location Restaurant and bar closed at 9pm, and small rooms for the price.

The valet and front desk staff were amazing. The room was comfortable, tho a bit dated. The bathroom was a little cramped, and could’ve definitely used a window upgrade as the noise level was like the window was wide open. Made for interesting listening at night. The location was excellent. It was within walking distance of many sights.

In the evening I called the front desk to ask for some toiletries I had forgotten no one ever picked up and I let it ring a long time. Then when I checked out I let the front desk know that I had meetings all day and then I was coming to pick it up around dinner time because my car was valeted. They never told me there would be an additional hourly charge for every hour past 3:00. When I mentioned this to the manager at the desk she said that is the rule and I said I understand but I was never informed of this I would have moved my car to where my meeting was and she basically gave me a phone number to call to complain. I'm sorry but this is horrible customer service. Additionally the walls are paper thin and I heard people in the other rooms and in the hallway all night long. I will not be staying at this hotel again

Good location; friendly, helpful staff; comfortable bed and pillows. The furniture is starting to show wear and could use an upgrade.

GREAT location, can walk everywhere. Very clean. Nice and friendly staff. Wish the bar would be open a bit later to have a cocktail at the end of the day.

Faruk went above and beyond. The restaurant and bar is the reason I love the Hamilton.

Room 220 was lovely and may have been newly renovated. Bed was comfortable room was clean. A robe was available for use. Only issues I had was the lighting was not very bright in the bathroom and in the room. Hard to read by. The outlets by the bed didn’t seem to be connected. We had to charge our phones by the desk. Just minor problems. Parking in Franklin one was convenient and more affordable. $27 overnight and just a block from hotel.

Historic place; nice lobby scent; great bar and restaurant

Great location. Old hotel but has everything you need. Toilet and shower are old so dont expect much. Be careful with the bottles in the fridge. If you move any bottle they try to charge you as they have a sensor, even if you put the bottle back to his place. Anyway will go back

The hotel was close to everything we wanted to see. The noise from the park and the cars making screeching noises.

The front desk was nice, and the room was VERY average (ex: no bedbugs, no luxury) for this kind of hotel. The location within the city was pretty convenient, Upon arrival we found that their idea of "parking" is an expensive valet service, and the local garages are not great either. Follow this discovery with an incorrect incidentals charge, small room, and mediocre shower. The next morning we found that the only place to reheat food was a sad microwave on the opposite side of our floor and the only place to dispose of food waste was the lobby.

We loved the hotel. Had a gorgeous lobby, absolutely friendly staff, and a perfectly comfortable room. Also a cozy bar to enjoy a nice drink. Only problem we had is that the outside noise was crazy loud all night long. I did not sleep a wink. People being loud, souped up cars, police sirens, you name it. I even had ear plugs in and that did not help.

The room was nice and hotel is in a great location. Our room was kept spotless by the housekeeping staff with plenty of clean towels. I appreciated having a bar restaurant on site.
