Clean, spacious rooms; very friendly and helpful staff
-
No very impressed

We really enjoyed our room. We had a city view which I would recommend. When I was booking I didn’t understand what a room with ‘a view’ was. I assume now that was a view of the interior of the hotel.

Great place to stay

Staff was great, hotel room was excellent and service was great!

This is the same Westin I’ve ever visited anytime I come to D.C!! Clean room, the staff was very welcoming and accommodated my late arrival.

Wonderful staff and wonderful stay! The breakfast staff in the lobby in the morning was especially wonderful and the bar staff made us feel like regulars by the second night which was fun. I will say that the room service hours were not the same as what was listed in the information in our room so when we were needing lunch options quickly, it was disappointing to know that we would have to wait for another hour and a half. (The brochure in our room said that lunch would be available to order starting at 11 however, when we called down to the kitchen staff, they said it wouldn’t start until 1230. So there was a gap of time between when breakfast was offered in the lobby and when you could order room service to your room.) That would not deter us from staying there again however as the overall hotel was great.

Centrally located, fantastic and safe neighborhood. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, train and bus stations. Roughly 15 minutes by foot to The National Mall.
-
Confusing that I thought I already prepaid breakfast only to find out at the end that I was still charged breakfast separately in addition to the room price.
-
The property feels old and in need of a referb. Bar area was nice but expensive.
-
The property is nice and all the staff members were very friendly and helpful. The room itself looked nice and was clean, but the A/C could never get below 74 because it barely blew any air. The staff brought us a fan, which helped, but it was still to warm to get good sleep. Hopefully it’s isolated to that one room, because the rest of the experience was good,

Clean room. No free breakfast, restaurant is pricey and not open for lunch.
-
They had a great list of local restaurants that were close by and shared happenings in the area with us. The staff was above and beyond helpful and location was close to where we wanted to visit.
-
My stay at the Westin DC City Center was exceptional!!! The hotel and its amenities were excellent, and the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating.

When I got to my room room it was quite cold and the only way I could warm it up was to turn off the airconditioner and leave for several plus hours. It was not possible to turn on the heat in order to warm the room up. I ended up just leaving the AC off. Another disappointment was the mini coffee maker in the room - the coffee was tasteless. The coffee at the coffee shop in the lobby was ok, but the breakfast selections were not very good. Lastely, my room had very little natural light. Overall, I'm not sure this hotel was worth the price. .

There is a 24hr wawa just around the corner and a CVS just a little farther if you need it.
