Homewood Suites by Hilton Washington, D.C. Downtown

We traveled as a family of 4 with two toddlers (3 &2). We got a one bedroom suite and it was perfect! We put our kiddos to bed on the couch bed and we had the nicely sized bedroom to ourselves for the night. The property was very clean, breakfast was served with some great daily staples (chia seed pudding, fruit, breads, yogurt), and the staff was accommodating & kind. We would stay here again! Our only complaint would be that it’s a bit of a hike to the metro making walking often faster than taking the metro. Otherwise, we were very satisfied! Even the laundry was easy to use and clean.

My stay was good ans I can connect to other areas of the city using the metro train. Its central location and proximity tommetro train is an added advantage

I would definitely stay there on my next trip to DC. I loved the suite idea and separate bedroom with kitchenette. Free Wi-Fi and cable tv was a plus for downtimes. Overall, the front desk staff were very accommodating and daily breakfast very pleasant. The location was smack in the middle of downtown and metro stations, a good distance but walkable if you are very mobile. Found a Whole Foods within less than a mile of the hotel and was able to pick up grocery, a savings of over $250 from buying restaurant food.

Great breakfast, secure hotel. Fairly far from the Metro, but having a suite made it easier to spread out our luggage and computers, etc and to host the other members of our traveling party. Staff was accommodating and responsive.

Room was excellent. Big and spacious. The exercise facilities were subpar. Didn’t have towels when I went, treadmills are lower end. Lots of space to do HIIT workouts though. Breakfast was good, better than most although didn’t have waffle maker which seemed to annoy some people.
