Wait more then half hour to receive the dinner

The pool was disappointing - not much more than a plunge pool/ I'm sure it is nice to use on a hot day but no good for actual swimming.

Decent location Dingy dark and not well kept up it was scruffy and I got bit in bed by what I would assume is bed bugs

The valet staff was great. The room was nice and clean and air conditioning worked very well.

The location is very convenient. The room was spacious, and the bathroom was also quite large. We appreciated having a coffee machine in the room. There was no bottled water in the room. We know that tap water in Washington, D.C. is considered safe to drink, but we’re not used to drinking tap water, so it would have been nice to have some bottled water provided.

Was very pleasantly surprised and impressed with how clean and spacious this hotel is. Everyone was super friendly and professional. Especially enjoyed the bar tender - she was very personable and great at her job. I enjoyed my stay and will definitely return.

Great location for family trip with kids to DC. Great variety of restaurants in walking distance. Rooftop pool let kids burn of some energy in the DC humidity.

The property was also very clean and smelled great throughout. The cleaning staff did an excellent job, and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. A special shoutout to Karen, who was wonderful and went above and beyond to assist us. The only issue we experienced was some miscommunication during check-in regarding the card hold. We were told the hold would be around $125–$250, but the actual hold included the cost of the entire stay plus the additional security deposit. It would have been helpful to have that explained more clearly upfront so there were no surprises. Other than that, I honestly have nothing bad to say about the property. Everything was great, and I would definitely stay here again. I didn’t get a chance to try the breakfast, but overall, it was a wonderful experience!

There was a mouse in our room!!!!!! At first I liked the room because it was roomy. On our 3rd night I saw a mouse ran out of the ac unit on the floor, and ran back. It was nearly 2am and both of us were terrified of mice, so we requested a room change. It was not until 4am that we fell asleep, and our next day plans were ruined. Not to mention that rodents are a huge health hazard that should not appear in a hotel. It was my sisters first time to DC too!!!!!! We are both so traumatized. I would not stay here again.

I was disappointed with this hotel. I’ve stayed at the Viceroy in Chicago which is much nicer and updated. The Viceroy in DC is run down and in an area that is odd and feels shabby. The clincher was the restaurant - the food was horrible. The oysters I ordered during the happy hour were disgusting and rotting. I had to send it back. The only edible food were the French fries. Very disappointing. Will never stay there again.

The hotel is beautiful, the staff were extremely nice and helpful. The room was fantastic and we really enjoyed our stay. 100% recommend
