Great hotel and amazing location.

The hotel has a unique concept and is in a convenient location, but my stay was just okay overall. The décor is modern and the staff was generally pleasant, but the experience didn’t quite live up to my expectations.
-
Cute hotel and nice room. However I did not like the added “amenity fees” at checkout. Kinda felt blindsided. The staff was nice and location was good.

Rooms are good, setup of breakfast is not great. Amenities are basic. Pool is very small and shallow.

I stayed here for a girls trip and the rooms were really nice and clean. I would give it 9/10 because the rooftop pool closed early for a wedding while we were there haha but everything else was really nice. Great location, less than 10 mins from tons of restaurants/touristy stuff and walkable.

Didn’t use any amenities to make the resort feel worthwhile

I really liked the location. An easy walk to Logan Circle, an equally easy walk to Dupont Circle and Embassy Row, the hotel is located next to great restaurant, nightlife and public transportation. I would recommend the Viceroy to anyone visiting DC. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

A clean hotel is well maintained with a great staff. Easy to get to all the main DC attractions if you are willing to hop on a scooter.

The hotel is in walking distance to many great restaurants. It’s also not too far from the museums- def walkable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Sean, the bartender, created a delicious passion fruit margarita and an old fashioned. The hotel gives well maintained mid century modern vibes- it was perfect! Beds were cozy and rooms were very cold- loved it!

Great location, very nice room, friendly and helpful staff.

Viceroy is a great choice for people traveling to Washington DC, spacious rooms, good facilities and super friendly staff. Good location as well, walking distance to the key attractions in the city.

I specifically stayed with Viceroy hotel for the breakfast and OUTDOOR POOL for the kids, after long and hot day of sightseeing. 2nd day the pool was dirty after a small kid without a proper diper used it. We have noticed the debris in the water, notify the staff and had to quickly leave the pool to clean ourselves. Nothing was done about it, so we couldn't use the main amenity for which we've paid extra. Wasted money.

Decor was nice boutique hotel. Good location. Roof bar was a zoo literally. Over maxed with people basically doing whatever they wanted with kids around. Bar staff was unenthusiastic and lacked any attempt to better the situation. The lobby had metal detectors at night since the rooftop turned into a rap hip hop festival - lots of non hotel people allowed to roam the elevators. Finally was transferred to Hotel Zena where staff was much better but they too had similar roof top activities. Unsafe is best way to describe it. Rooms were well kept modern and decent. The environment left a lot to be desired.

Very close to Logan Square. Fun decor.

2nd time staying here it’s always great

Excellent location, super friendly staff

Conveniently located and quiet. But for the summer heat it may have been a delightful stay. The chiller system struggled daily to keep our room in the mid to high 70s. We did get prompt help to adjust the system as much as possible but to little avail. If your booking says it sleeps 3 then you will have to get a roll away bed for $25 a day. The staff was for the most part always friendly. The bars, restaurant and coffee spot in the lobby is a wonderful convenience.

Air conditioner didn’t work all week, was told my room was working but they lied. They told me they were getting it fixed, but it never happened. They gave me a small credit, but not worth it.

Overall the stay was okay, 3-4 stars . They had an AC issue , I guess Because it had been so hot in DC. They brought us a fan for the first night and then moved us to a lower level room for the rest of the stay . It was a bit cooler , but since you can’t control your own AC level it wasn’t ideal. Karen at the front desk was extremely nice and very helpful and so was Zach. Just know the property is an older boutique hotel so it comes with those cons .
