Generally pretty good budget hotel

This was a small off-the-beaten-path little place that was in good shape in the 80’s maybe? It was likely an old apt building, as it is surrounded by several others. There are only stairs from the sidewalk into the lobby area, which is manned by one person that is often somewhere in the back. I think they had coffee, but no other refreshments. There are a dozen chairs and a TV. The A/C in our room worked well, although our room faced the street and a lot of (morning) light came through the blinds. It was also very noisy at night - sirens and cars. The rooms are very close together and we heard all the other doors opening and closing. The bathroom was tiny- my knees almost touched the shower while on the toilet- and I’m 5’3”! The floors were all tile, which I didn’t hate, and there are no dressers or USB plugs. It served its purpose for us, somewhere to sleep and shower, but it’s a 15-20 min walk to the Farragut North Metro stop and I probably wouldn’t stay again. Decent place for the price.

A nice older hotel, Fairly close to Whole Foods, Starbucks, CVS. Good walking area. 14 minute walk to Dupoint Circle Metro. No breakfast only Coffee served after 8:00 AM. CLEAN sheets and Towels every morning. Staff was helpful. I would stay again when in the Washingon DC Area.

The hotel itself is old and rundown. Some things have been updated such as the bathroom, The important parts of the room were clean, except for the carpet. I was hoping for a mini fridge in the room, no such luck. Was happy to see an ice machine and water in the lobby. Parking is very limited (3 spots in the alley out back). Nice neighborhood. Walking distance to the White House.

Room feels more like a prison cell than a hotel room. Bare minimum. Not even a phone in the room to let the front desk know, that the “WIFI IN ROOM” sucked like an elephant at a watering hole. Constant disruptions, buffering or booted. Excessive heat, during America250, meant a place to lay my head, meant feeling claustrophobic, and I’m not claustrophobic. I do give it two stars because I did have a roof over my head and for that I’m grateful. However, I would NOT recommend this place nor stay here again.

They mentioned I'd get a discount for my troubles within a couple of days. It's been over a week and nothing. I thought I was totally fine with 3 star hotels, but after this experience, I think I'll need to increase my standards. Your mileage may vary.

Super clean!

Two things really. They took the bathroom carpet and the key card failed to work on the second day. Otherwise it was just okay.

La propiedad estaba en una excelente ubicación. Cerca de los museos, restaurantes. A una cuadra había un supermercado muy bien abastecido.

District Hotel was a great place to stay overall. The hotel was very clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the location made it easy to get around Washington, DC. The check-in process was smooth, and the room had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The only downside was that the room was quite loud at times, with noise coming from the hallway, lobby, and outside. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and a good value.

Clean room and comfy beds. Older hotel, but it had all the basics.

It was a great place for the low price. The building may be old, but my room was upgraded and clean. The location was close enough for a lot of walking or short car trips.

Clean room

Tucked in. Neighborhood with surrounding bars and restaurants, great location
-
Loved the nice decors. Did not like smoke from marijuana on the street outside the hotel

Good clean place.

Super tiny room

There were bedbugs. This hotel was hands down the worst I’ve ever stayed in. It’s owned by a Vietnamese family that couldn't care less about the place. Sometimes there was nobody at the front desk, and I had to wait 30 to 40 minutes to get my key because the front desk person had to leave and didn't leave a replacement. There was nobody working at the hotel except one person.

Hotel bed and pillows were comfortable and very clean. Room was simple and clean . No refrigerator or phone? No closet or hooks for clothes
