Loved this place! Super kind and hard working staff. I wish you didn’t have to call to get a coffee machine but other then that 10/10!

The staff was helpful and professional, running this property like a well oiled machine. The attached restaurant was five star quality on a five star property, delicious breakfast with consistent quality for each of our return visits. Excellent. We didn't use the bar or visit the offered wine hour or social hours, but the fact that it was there made the difference. The clientele of the hotel was mixed and everyone was friendly, we struck up many conversations during our stay that enhanced our trip greatly. We were a bit sad to end our stay, and can't wait to return.

Very Nice , clean room & the staff was very kind and helpful . Breakfast spot attached had good food . All the spots we wanted to visit were in close range and felt super walkable

Stayed for 4 nights. Hotel was very nice and had good amenities. Staff was attentive and kind. Rooms were cleaned everyday. We purchased breakfast vouchers and the food was delicious.

We were very impressed by the design of the room, the cleanliness, and the attentiveness of the staff. The icing on the cake was the free coffee in the morning and the happy hour in the evening. We’ll definitely be staying here when we’re in DC.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout my visit. The location was very convenient. I also appreciated the amenities, especially the comfortable bed, reliable Wi-Fi, and delicious breakfast. Overall, the hotel provided excellent value for the price, and I would happily stay here again and recommend it to others.

Nice hotel- more standardized/big box hotel than boutique. Food was great—breakfast was a real stand out. No great work spaces in the common areas.

The best hotel I’ve ever stayed in in DC

Excellent property with very nice and helpful staff. We’ve stay at the Kimpton every time we’re in DC and love the boutique vibe and location.

Location was great and staff were friendly. Only disappointment was that the rooftop bar, which is prominently featured in the photos, is not available for guests to use. It’s only for people who rent it out for parties. Showing it in the photos feels like false advertising.

If the breakfast options were better.

Spacious room, walking distance to the National Mall, a variety of nice restaurants nearby.

Room was spacious and very comfortable for us. Bed was extremely comfortable and the black-out curtains made sleeping easy. Because we were on the 2nd floor there was street noise, but we always travel with our own noise machine and ear plugs so no issue there. The room was equipped with its own noise machine, as well. Will definitely stay again!

Hotel was clean Traffic noise on street side was a bit much, even on upper floor Breakfast was substantial, prepared fresh; coffee was good but sparingly served, however, there was a nice morning coffee service in the lobby Room was spacious, and cleaned (except for 1 day) Bottled water was provided and much appreciated, especially in the intense heat over the holidays, and there was always iced and fruited water available in the lobby to refill water bottles A random fire alarm sent everyone downstairs with no explanation at its precipitate cancelation, just people trudging back upstairs, saying it was canceled. Considered it a drill, and better that all was well than the alternative

I really do not recommend that Hotel Kimpton Banneker to anyone, nor even an enemy.
