Washington Plaza Hotel

Really great for the price I paid.

Amazing staff everyone as helpful and nice as possible especially Sharda the pool bartender! Fun and will stay here everytime we come to DC

Our housekeeper was fantastic. She went above the call of duty. Our waiter was great too. Breakfast was excellent. The doorman was always there and on the ball. Pool was nice and clean. The young man who checked us in was very thorough. We will stay here again when we come back.

Coffee machine was in the bathroom which I didn’t like and I asked if they have coffee in the lobby and they didn’t! Little bit confusing on how to enter for people walking to this place from metro, a small sign would help!

It’s a nice hotel. Good location. Pool looked nice although we didn’t have time to enjoy it. They have an onsite restaurant which is nice. Staff is lovely. They have onsite parking but lots of cheaper options nearby. Rooms are small. Elevator uses key security to get to floors which is nice. WiFi is horrible so keep in mind if traveling for work.

The stay in the hotel was overall great. Except the rooms. The room was small and the bathroom layout was uncomfortable. the shower water pressure was poor. The restaurant menu was not as diverse as other restaurants but was fine.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and the large tub to take a bath when your legs are aching was amazing. I’m so happy I stayed here.

Though this was an older hotel, and a bit dated in design, it was extremely clean, and its overall ambience in the middle of the city felt like a retreat with the outdoor pool, full gym, and indoor-outdoor restaurant. I took advantage of all of the amenities during my stay. The staff was extremely helpful, allowing me to check in a little early and the rooms were nicely appointed and beds were very comfortable. The price was below average for location as well.I look forward to staying here again.

Overall very nice property, its advantage is the location. Maybe twenty minutes by foot to the White House. Gym should be better equipped

The tv was extremely small, we have a bigger one in our kitchen at home. Otherwise the place is great, clean, & comfy; everyone was all pleasant & nice & helpful.

The Hotel was clean and professional. Outdoor pool was clean and spacious. Friendly staff.

The room was extremely small and not what I expected at the price point. The new lobby looks really nice, but they definitely need to upgrade the rooms. They are pretty outdated with very worn bedding. The highlight is the pool. It was great. I usually only stay at this hotel during the summer.

Staff was very helpful. The food wasn’t very good. There is a WAWA across the street for quick bites if needed. Good location for DC attractions.

Great Hotel. Special thanks to Christina for being very professional with an issue and really making us feel special. The outdoor pool is the absolute best for families and being right near the White House and National Mall made the vist for the 4th of July 2026 perfect....many thanks !!!

This property was not only clean but the staff was beyond helpful in directing us towards our destination points. Beautiful restaurant, pool and all around great views of the city.

The room was very clean housekeeping service was top-notch and there was a full gym which the hotel did not advertise as one of the amenities so that was a real bonus. I will definitely use Washington Plaza again my next trip to DC.
