Unpleasant front desk representative, uncleaned room after previous gests!!!

We needed one night in DC close to Smithsonian and other museums, mostly just a place to sleep. The man at the front desk was incredibly helpful, friendly, efficient, and gracious. The room was small but clean; the bathroom was very small and oddly laid out but clean. Breakfast the next morning was packed and the flow of the room made it very difficult to access everything easily. Many breakfast items had run out and the staff was in no rush to replenish anything quickly, which was frustrating. However, parking was a huge bonus and made it worth the stay. $12 for 24 hours and the lot was about 5 minutes away so we were able to walk to all the attractions and not worry about parking. Overall, this hotel checked the main boxes for what we needed but not sure that I’d stay here again if I had a comparable choice.

IsClose To Everything. parking was offsite, which is pretty common for DC. But the rate was very affordable. $12 a day. On my search for a hotel in the same area I found hotels charging 50 and $70 per night. And if you move your car, you had to pay again. Which was the same situation here but at least it was only $12 and they were transparent about it. . The parking building is about two blocks away.. and there is no valet. So recommend offloading everything in the lobby. The staff is very helpful and kind and has a closet to keep your things safe. We arrived early and they allowed us to leave our belongings in a closet until we were able to check in. So we did that, and went exploring! An Uber to any of the attractions was only about $10 if we didn’t want to walk. In the afternoons, there was iced lemon water, and fresh cookies in the lobby of the hotel. As well as coffee, tea and hot chocolate. The breakfast was fine. And they restock anything that ran out. The beds were not the most comfortable in my opinion. And felt smaller than most full-size or double beds. We have four people in my group: myself and my kids. And the beds felt very tight, which we didn’t encounter in the other hotels we stayed at in our road trip. So something to consider if you have large people in your group. We’re more in the medium range and felt a little snug at bed time. That being said, I highly recommend this hotel. Clean, close to attractions and budget friendly!

-
The room was clean, but clearly show the wear and tear. Breakfast was just okay, if you just wanna an affordable place, it is okay,

Good location, but the breakfast was mediocre

Comfort Inn is conveniently located very close to the Convention Center and walking distance to many of the beautiful places in the Nation's Capital!

The hotel is older. Our toilet did not flush sometimes so we had to take the back off and manually push the lever down. Since we knew how to do it, we never notified the staff for them to fix while we were there. Our blinds were broke and would not raise however as before we did not tell any staff until check out so they could fix it. The breakfast was the same every day but the staff was trying to keep it stocked as fast as they could. One lady went out of her way to help a customer in a wheelchair to fix her plate and coffee. ALL parking is offsite about 4 blocks away but they do give you a ticket to make parking only $12 a night. Just beware, the parking deck was a little difficult to know where we could park. Everything seemed pretty clean. The elevators are small. My daughter liked the light attached to the bed for reading at night. It was about 5 blocks to a metro station. We found a good pizza place to order from close by also.

The breakfast and dinner were very good! The staff there were helpful too! If we went to San Antonio again, this is where we will stay at!

I had a horrible experience. I saw bedbugs. I immediately complained to the front desk staff, They tried to accommodate by moving me to another room. I checked out in the middle of the night. I could not stay there. I requested for management to contact me regarding the bedbugs. They have not contacted me yet. (I have pictures) Terrible customer experience!!

Advertised outside rooftop area, but it was not assessable. The room had a strong musty smelled. Shower water took a long time to heat up. Fridge did not work when we arrived (with food that needed to be refrigerated). There were no other rooms for us to move too. It was somewhat fixed the nice day, we kept a bucket of ice in the fridge to make it cooler. The young man at the front desk did put our medication and food in a fridge behind the desk, which we appreciated.

Desiree went above and beyond on two different occasions for us during our stay. The breakfast was just right and the location - we were able to walk to the landmarks.
