The location is excellent, safe and just steps from the Capitol. The room itself is quite small, along with the elevator and breakfast area. That said, I scored a great parking garage through SpotHero only 0.2 miles away for just $20 for 48 hours.

Enjoyed our stay. Staff very helpful and friendly. Clean. Breakfast good assortment
-
The best staff ever! My air broke and they moved me rooms twice! Very nice people and very accommodating. Had a great stay and will be back if I go back to dc

We visited during the summer 26 heatwave and the AC plus a west facing facade meant we had 80+ degree room temperatures with no air moving in the unit. I’m sure this would not be a problem during normal weather. Overall the hotel is very old, the rooms are tiny, but the breakfast was nice and the nearby Wawa filled in the gaps.

It was a horrible experience. The room was dirty, and the bathrooms were awful.
-
While sufficient for my needs, my assigned room was small. They held my belongings after checking out for the day.

Minor issues: some lights and outlets didn't work, the wallpaper was peeling, and no one was available to fix the electric faults (Front desk said, "he's doing laundry", and "hotel is full, can't give you a different room"). No bedside lights or outlets for charging devices was a huge pain, and then we poked around and found out the issue was a power extension that wasn't turned on! *Major issue:* there were people smoking weed on the street, one was even a hotel resident, and that smoke and odor was pulled into the room by the window AC unit! For ground floor rooms, there should be a better solution than window units that pull in car exhaust and smoke!

Chose this property for its location to Convention Center. It was just a short walk, maybe 3/4 mile. The breakfast had options just typical of precooked and warmed meals. The waffles were self-prepared. But overall average a nice place to stay at a great price for area.

Close enough to the metro to make sight seeing work

Very good hotel for visiting the capital

I would not recommend staying here. While the staff at the front desk were nice, the place isn’t in a great area. And we had an incident with another guest or someone in the lobby that I am still heartbroken about. I will say that the staff is very nice though.

I didn't like it at all very pricey room rate for a dumpy hotel that needs renovation!!! The hotel was too expensive and the parking lot was a distance and you couldn't take out your car otherwise you will pay again, very costly obligated people to not use their car otherwise you paid double. Also the room was very small and the beds uncomfortable and small. And the room was very noisy, you can hear everything outside. The room was falling apart, and the TV didn't work. I asked to change room but no they sent someone to fix the problem but he only changed the TV but no channels that's ridiculous!!! He also left our bed shit dirty who knows what he did. We stayed 3 nights and the room was not clean or bed maded. The breakfast was not good. I don't recommend this hotel at all. This hotel needs renovation and good customer service training!!!

1. Lack of overall cleanliness

Just what we needed
-
Close location to centre of DC. Poor WiFi. Room was dirty, staff were unhelpful.
-
Convenient location, 30 min walk to the White house. Nice parking option in the nearby garage for 10$ per 24 h. Groceries just around the corner. Breakfast was there, but nothing too special: waffles, cereal, some eggs and sausage. Not the cleanest room, the floor was quite dirty.

Good

The lady at the front desk was very helpful. The breakfast was convenient and good. The gym had a laundry in it. Perfect hotel. Good location.
-
Location was perfect, pretty good breakfast, cleaning every day, amazing price-value solution and great discount for parking. Room was pretty small, needs some renovation.

Hotel was fine, the parking was two blocks away for $10 which was a little annoying, but I can’t complain for this being one of the cheapest in DC. Room was clean but the bathtub could be in better condition, it was painted. Other than that everything was fine. The breakfast was okay, waffles, bagels, cereal, powdered eggs and sausage.
