Pretty good

One of the little touches I loved was the fresh lemon infused water, and complementary cookies at the lobby. It was such an welcoming treat after coming back from a long walk!

Clean and safe.

The room is clean. The bathroom is small but useful. The hotel is very close to national mall. And all other attractions. It's easy to get to attraction around DC by foot. There is a convenience supermarket nearby and the price is reasonable. There's also a mcdonald's not too far.

The entrance has stairs that makes it hard for older people with luggage. Parking is terrible. You have two options street parking or two blocks around the corner. There was info about parking when I booked. You have to pay each time you park. The front staff did not know how to print a receipt for my stay.

The staff was friendly and welcoming. I especially liked the hotel’s refreshing, modern simplicity, with bright pops of color that gave it a cheerful and inviting feel.

When I asked if we could change rooms, I was told that the hotel was sold out, even though rooms were still showing as available online. Unfortunately, this experience was very disappointing, and we will definitely not be coming back.

They can improve a lot of the property

The room was very noisy. I specifically requested a quiet room, so I can get a good night rest. The request was not honored

The property is well located and in good condition and the staff is really good.

The location is the best part. The room was incredibly small. We were placed on the first floor right next to the front desk in a small corridor that included two other guest rooms, and two staff rooms. This meant anytime we left we opened up directly into the lobby often almost hitting guests with the door. Our key card stopped working twice. Everytime we interacted with staff they barely acknowledged us, didn’t explain what they were doing, just left us wondering what was happening. Check in took us over 20 minutes and the person just wasn’t telling us any updates of what was taking so long.

Only location. Even though the location of the hotel is good, the hotel needs serious renovation and attention. On the first day of my arrival at the hotel, I noticed that the toilet in the room was not working and there was no water. I informed the reception about this and they said that it was repaired after some time. But just a few hours later, the same problem occurred again. I informed the reception again. They said that they had few staff for the repair and that it would take time. Although I was practically staying in a room on the 8th floor, I had to use the restroom on the LL floor with breaks for 2 days. I ask Booking.com to investigate this issue.
